• This morning we have the privilege and opportunity to participate at the Lord’s Table for Communion.
• First Wednesday Prayer & Worship will be June 5 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. This special time of prayer and worship will be focused on VBS.
• The mandatory Roar VBS volunteer training is Thursday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 at 4:00 p.m. in the Harbor. Attendance is required at one of the scheduled dates/times for everyone who will be helping at VBS. Please contact Sarah Kerns with any questions.
• We are collecting empty paper towel rolls for a VBS project. Please place them in the bin in the lobby. Thank you! We do not need anymore newspaper.
• We are seeking a Worship Leader who has a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing, personal relationship with Him; is able to lead and serve as a vocalist and/or instrumentalist during worship services; will recruit and develop other vocalists and instrumentalists and help build them into a team; and will learn, create, and use worship planning strategies for weekly worship experiences. The position will be full-time or part-time depending on the candidate. We encourage all interested persons to inquire. Please submit a resume and cover letter to Pastor Russell at [email protected].
• Hope Church softball games are played on Tuesday evenings at Pederson Park. We have two teams playing, so come on out to Pedersen Park and cheer them on! Game times are 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Fields 1 or 2.
• On Sunday, June 9, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. area churches from Spencer and the Lakes area will be participating in a Merge NOW night of worship at the Tabernacle on the Okoboji Bible Conference grounds. The theme of the night is “Worship Unites us Around the Throne” and will feature a worship team comprised of worship pastors and volunteers from area churches. All are welcome and there is no charge.

Adam Warren on the passing of Chris’ stepfather and Heather’s grandfather, Carl “Swede” Erickson, from time to eternity on May 27.
• Our condolences to Justin & Molly Vail and family on the passing for Justin’s father, Dick Vail of Sioux Rapids, from time to eternity on May 28.
• Diane Van Wyk had knee surgery on May 28. • Congratulations to Karen Mechler and John Corrigan who
were united in marriage on May 20. • Congratulations to Shelby Ranslow and Ethan Reese who
were united in marriage on June 1.
