frustrated by the Proclamation Line?
Many were angered by the fact that “their prize” was snatched away from them by King George III and that they now had to pay
for troops to enforce the proclamation. Many also felt like the Indians (who had sided with the French) were being treated
better than the colonists by getting to keep all that land.
