Title of the Project:
Revenue Collection System
INTRODUCTION OF THE PROJECT: -
The purpose of this manual is to familiarize the people interacting with the technology, at
the user level, to become confident in using the system.
The Revenue Collection Module emphasizes the importance of regular monitoring. The
precise indicators reflect eh ongoing situation promptly up to the RI level. This system gives a
report on the performance of the RIs in competition with each other in terms of collection. The
revenue collection deals with supervision and monitoring of collection of land revenue,
processing proposals for allotment of government land, protection of government land and other
land related matters. The subordinate offices in the field are offices of !ubcollector, Tahasils
and Revenue Inspectors. The module presented here is a part of the whole profile of revenue
department and deals with the monitoring part of "C# statements.
The software eliminates various limitations li$e time and resources spent on moving files
and thus information to the deciding authority, time ta$en for ta$ing out cumulative reports, etc.
%ere a Collector would find important informative resources necessary for monitoring
the performance of all the RI circles and thus the overall collections of the state li$ewise. &lso, it
would highlight the balance to be collection and the progression of the performance of an RI.

LIMITATION AND DRAWBACKS OF SYSTEM: -
The e(isting process e(ploit human labour adversely. Tenants are not given any revenue to the )ovt. by showing their false report.
Consolidation of Revenue Collection from the Tenant is time consuming.
Most of the time is felt that the amount spent towards salary is found more than the
amount derived from Revenue.
OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT:
The Information of the system should be available through Internet and Intranet both.
&nybody will view the entire system of a particular area through the Internet according to
his*her re+uirements.
-obody will change in the e(isting format of the !ystem.
The purpose of the system is to familiarize the people interacting with the technology
through Internet and manually.
PROJECT CATEGORY:-
What i I!t"#!"t: -
The Internet began in the year '/0s as e(periment. Its goal was to create a truly resilient
information networ$ one that could withstand the loss of several computes without preventing
the others for communicating. !uch as -uclear attac$, the 1.!. "epartment of defense provided
the initial funding. The early Internet was mostly limited to educational institutions and defensecontractors. Then rapidly it spreads into tools for academic collaboration, allowing researchers
across the globe to share information. In early '0s, Modems were created that could wor$ over
e(isting phone lines and the Internet began to open up to commercial users. In '2, the first
%TM3 browser was created and the Internet revolution began.

The ;ntityRelationship model is a data model for highlevel descriptions of conceptual data
models, and it provides a graphical notation for representing such data models in the form of
entityrelationship diagrams. !uch data models are typically used in the first stage of
informationsystem designP they are used, for e(ample, to describe information needs and*or the
type of information that is to be stored in the database during the re+uirements analysis.

SW-ADMIN: -
Airst the user enter the username and password. If the username and password is valid
then it go to the ne(t form.
DEMAND FORM=
&s the user choose S"emand icon on the main page %e*!he will come across a selection
form. In this S!election form %e*!he have to choose a Tahasil, the corresponding RI Circle and
Type of Revenue. In the screen, which follows, the user would view all the records input, add
new ones, delete or modify any record.
COLLECTION FORM:
&s the user clic$ the icon for Collection you would get the same selection screen as to
enter in the Tahasil name, The RI and the Type of Revenue. The process is responsible to add,
search, modify, delete, view and store the information in the "atabase.
PROGRESSIVE COLLECTION :
The inbuilt calculation enables the user only to choose and view the results. Bn choosing
the corresponding icon, user will get the same selection screen as selecting from the same fields,
then %e*!he will get the screen to view the progressive report. The user is responsible to add,
search, modify, delete and view. These forms are database driven and is dependent upon the
previous data entered.
BALANCE REPORT: -
&fter selecting the fields from the selection form, user will get a screen to choose the
year, month and fortnight for which user will see the figures as per their re+uirement. &fter
selecting the period for which user would li$e to view the balance, Sshow to give the figures in
the form.

PERCENTAGE COLLECTION: -
%ere a small formula is used to convert the figures into percentiles to :udge, analyze and
forecast the demand for the ne(t financial year. The process is also responsible to view the data
and a copy is also store the office for future reference.
REPORT GENERATED BY THE SYSTEM: -
The report is generated from the system monthly wise, year wise. The revenue will
collected monthly basis or yearly basis from the Tenants by the R.I. The collection slip will be
stored in the Register for future reference and one copy of that receipt is given to the Tenants.
;verybody will view this report using 7ebsite at any point of time. Report are to be generated

FUTURE SCOPE AND FURTHER ENHANCEMENT OF THE PROJECT: -
#ased on the information gathered the scope of the system are mentioned below.
Throughout the system, the user able to clic$ on various field to pull of detailed
information in a new window. These clic$ able fields will be identifying for each
screen at a later date.
"esign and "evelopment should be such that the system though simple should be
robust.
Ale(ibility for configuring the system should be enough so that the users are not
tied down.
7henever the user open the website page then he*she will view the data of the
Collectorate office along with revenue details.
The system has been made compatible within the present circumstances $eeping
all the comple( functional re+uirements in view. If there is any $ind of structural
or functional optimization necessary action at any point of time then the system
can be easily updated view to its simplicity. &ny $ind of new feature can be addedto it to carry forward the necessary data processing wor$ with the Revenue
Collection !ystem.
This !ystem helps people to get information about their revenues pending from
various aspects using website of Collector &utomation Technology and they will
easily clear their dues pending before getting )ovt. notice.
