In 2013 a storm revealed 800,000 year old

Paleolithic fossils and artifacts

These were the earliest found evidence of

first human settlement outside of Africa

Fossils also eroded away over the following

two weeks

2015 Archaeological remains are excavated and new facil ities built

Piles and caissons revealed by erosion, facil ities accessed by walkways

Caissons now fully surrounded by the sea, facil ities access by cable car

Facil ities removed and recycled. Concrete structures remain as monuments
