Returning and Scrapping Assemblies

Trigger:

Concept

Assembly return transactions move the assemblies first to the To Move interoperation step of the

last operation, and then to the operation and step that you specify. Move return transactions

reverse charges to resources and reverse backflush transactions for components.

Assemblies are scrapped by moving them into the Scrap intraoperation step of an operation. You

can recover assemblies by moving them out of the Scrap step. The system considers assemblies

moved into the Scrap step from the Queue or Run step of the same operation as complete at thatoperation, and updates resource charges and overhead costs accordingly.

In this topic, you will view use the Move Transactions page to return and scrap assemblies.

1. Begin by navigating to the Move Transactions page.

Click the vertical scrollbar.

through the operation routing steps. You can search for record using values in the

Sales Order, Line, Assembly, and Job fields.
