LOCAL INITIATIVES

■ Sharing Life became the first distribution hub for North Texas Food Bank’s 10-year planto provide access to 92 million meals per year by 2025.

■ Lake Rockwall Estates has partnered with Navarro College to offer free ESL classes thatcount for college credit to the community of Rockwall.

■ Poiema (anti-human trafficking ministry) will open their safe house soon. They willprovide housing, spiritual guidance and a mentor to girls rescued from trafficking.

■ Genesis (ministry for women and children in crisis) expanded their facility with the helpof a Lake Pointe construction team, multiple Life Groups and Lake Pointe business owners.

■ Trinity Restoration (prison ministry) started church services at the Estes Unit and holdsclasses daily for the inmates.

■ Ethiopian Evangelical Baptist Church is reaching immigrants by providing education,ESL, spiritual health, job placement, and housing.

■ Living Word Arabic Church is reaching Syrian refugees recently settled in Dallas through acommunity café and training church members on apologetics.

■ In 2017, we will plant five new churches in:o Pasadena, CA (Metro Los Angeles)o Campbell, CA (SF Bay Area)o Denver, COo Seattle, WAo Cape Town, South Africa

� On Easter 2016, over 30,000 people attended a Lake Pointe service. On that same weekend, over 30,000 people attended one of Lake Pointe’s church plants in some of the most spiritually under-resourced cities in North America.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS

■ Cuba: Leadership training and mentoring for pastors and church leaders; Disaster relief forHurricane Matthew.

■ East Asia: 320 received Christ; 450 eyeglasses provided in Vietnam.

■ Egypt: 550 children sponsored; 6 water filtration systems provided.

■ Ghana: 3,750 in KidsGames with 300 receiving Christ; 260 children sponsored; 12 waterwells provided; 2,500 medical patients served; 2,200 kids at VBS.

■ Haiti: 350 received Christ; 600 children given medical care.

■ India: Opened up a café in the inner city; Engaging 60 upper-cast business leaders;40 received Christ.

■ Mexico: 225 children sponsored; 4,000 eyeglasses provided; 350+ wheelchairs; 1,000dental patients served.

■ South Africa: 150 received Christ; 2,000 people served by compassion ministries.
