ARRIVE at 11 a.m. to check in, enjoy a light lunch and practice a bit. This scramble tournament gets off to a shotgun start at 12:30.

PLAY in the University of Houston Engineering Golf Tournament and not only have a good time with friends, but assist UH Cullen College of Engineering academic programs. Individuals and teams are welcome. To arrange for a student to play on your team, contact Janice Quiroz Perez at 713-743-4215 or jquiroz@uh.edu by March 23.

PARTICIPATE as an individual player ($160), corporate sponsor ($700 for a four member team with a hole sponsor sign), or be a hole sponsor ($250 for one tee sign). Other forms of sponsorship are also available (19th hole, beer cart, door prizes and many other opportunities). If you can’t take the day off to golf, make reservations to join us for dinner at 5:30 p.m. The cost is $20.

ENJOY a light lunch, the company of friends on the course, then help yourself to dinner, a cash bar and more fun as door prizes and awards are presented.

The fair market value of the entr y fee is $65.

DEAN’S Cup — Teams representing different departments in the college will compete to have their names engraved on the Dean’s Cup trophy, which is displayed in the UH Cullen College of Engineering Dean’s Office. In addition, the winning team will receive $1,000 in discretionary funds that are awarded to the winning department. To be eligible, teams need to have at least one member affiliated with their department of choice. This may be an alumnus/alumna, student, faculty or staff member. Teams without a direct affiliation to a department will be free to choose a department to represent. Individual entrants will be placed on teams that represent their discipline.

TIGER Drive — One “Tiger Drive” may be purchased for $20 per team at the registration table prior to tee-off. The “Tiger Drive” assumes that “Tiger” hit your first shot and allows teams to skip the tee box and proceed to the designated area where they will hit their second shot.
