Nel dialetto veneto, il “curàme” è il nome del cuoio. Una parola antica, di origine popolare, che definisce il ma-teriale residuo della cura del pellame. I nostri nonni ci hanno insegnato a non sprecare nulla, e abbiamo scel-to di dedicarci a questo materiale per estendere la vita di un prodotto tipico del nostro territorio. Una materia pri-ma che nella lavorazione non perde le sue qualità peculiari e si presta a una rigenerazione sempre ottimale.

Storia e innovazioneL’industria conciaria in Veneto si è sviluppata nel dopoguerra, principal-mente nel fiorente distretto vicentino. La scelta di questo nome vuole esse-re un omaggio alla semplicità di una tradizione contadina della quale l’Ita-lia è intrisa, e all’ingegno laborioso ti-pico della nostra terra. La particolare formulazione di Kurame® ha dato vita ad un materiale unico per qualità funzionali, tattili e visive.

Kurame® è impermeabile, lavabile, e mantiene nel tempo le sue caratteristiche sostanziali, poiché studiato per resistere all’usura.Il nostro rispetto per l’ambiente ci ha por-tati ad investire sul futuro, sulla sosteni-bilità della produzione, ad aggiungere un tassello importante al ciclo di lavorazione del cuoio. In the Venetian dialect, the “curàme” is the name of the leather. An ancient, originally a working-class word, which defines the residual material of the care

of leather.Our grandparents taught us not to wa-ste anything, and we chose to dedicate ourselves to this material to extend the life of a typical product of our territory. A raw material that does not lose its pecu-liar qualities during the processing and

that can always be regenerated.

History and innovationThe tanning industry in Veneto developed in the post-war period, mainly in the

thriving district of Vicenza.The choice of this name wants to be a tribute to the simplicity of a rural tradi-tion of which Italy is soaked, and to the industrious ingenuity typical of our land.The particular formulation of Kurame® has given life to a unique material for

functional, tactile and visual qualities.

Kurame® is waterproof, washable, and retains its substantial characteri-stics over time, as designed to with-

stand wear.

Our respect for the environment has led us to invest in the future, on the sustainability of production, to add an important piece to the leather proces-sing cycle. The regenerated material thus acquires new life and finds its
