Job Duties/Responsibilities: 1) Reporting to the Superintendent and assisting with all aspects of civil
construction operations. Including scheduling weekly & daily work, coordinating the various trade groups & subcontractors. With proven ability to supervise numerous construction crew(s).
2) Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, bylaws, regulations and acts, site drawings and specifications, with an emphasis on health, safety, and environmental issues.
3) Ensure crews complete & submit all required documentation (equipment, personnel and materials).
4) Schedule, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of work crews and track and document daily work productions.
5) Order and manage materials and equipment on a daily basis. Co-ordinate pick-up and delivery of materials to the field.
6) Dealing with internal and external customers by being a construction professional.
7) Ensure quality of work meets site specifications within schedule and on budget.
8) Review drawings and PTR’s. Report and rectify any conflicts or omissions found.
