HR Strategy & Work Experience Current Job : HR Business Partner – World Vision PNG - April 2013 to Present Current Roles, Responsibilities & achievement:

I. HR Strategy & Workforce Planning

Draw out and update the organisation’s annual WFP (workforce planning) aligned with the demands of the new and current positions within the programs and projects. Coordinating the other HR Officers, ensure timely and effective recruitment done, and vacant positions are filled in less than 30 days as per the organisation’s Recruitment policy, regulate all the regional area program HR Officers to ensure vacant positions are updated on a monthly basis.

II. Recruitment

Recruited over 60 health professionals (Health Extension Officers /nurses) and engaged 2-3 staff

in each of the 22 Provinces to work alongside NDOH (National Department of Health) help reduce the spread of TB in PNG, acting in my capacity as a single HR Officer in 2013. Recruited over 10 Project Managers and over 20 other project officers as a single HR Officer Point person for World Vision Bougainville Area Program in 2015. Currently managing over 40 Staff in Bougainville in all HR & Administrative Functions.

Coordinate and attend to recruitment needs at the country office based in Port Moresby, and attend to recruitment of staff in other area programs other than Bougainville on ad hoc basis when need arises.

Liaised with internal managers and external stakeholders on recruitment matters

III. Contract Administration

Prepared over 80 Job Offer Letters and employment Contracts (excluding casual and employees).

Reviewed and facilitated contract extension for over 80 staff in World Vision Bougainville Area Program, being the HR Business Partner Point person for Bougainville.

I Facilitate exit process and final pay-out calculations for numerous exiting staff in accordance with the organisational policies and PNG employment Laws.

Send probation and contract ending alerts and contract ending notice/letter, staff contract extension etc. Facilitate Staff separation process, disciplinary letters etc., keep such documents in orderly confidential manner; establish staff records of all HR activities.

IV. Remuneration Packaging

Prepared new hire packaging, commensurate with their work experience, skills and experiences required for each vacant position. Working closely with the payroll to ensure overtime and new hires are paid in a timely manner. Package other fringe benefits (such as salary sacrifice for school fees and housing or transport fares etc.) for staff. Process final pay-out for exiting staff.

V. Orientation, Placement

Designed, develop, and roll out New Hire Orientation,, Induct new hire with the organisation’s core Values and principles, its vision, mission, objectives, policies and code of conducts, securities briefings, etc., and placement.

Facilitated necessary recruitment forms, compile HR Policies, Employment Code of Conduct, Security briefing, AON Health Insurance (insure staff), NASFUND, IRC Forms, etc. induct new hires; produce accurate information to finance team to effect payroll

VI. Performance Management

Coordinated over 40 Project staff including project managers (supervisors) and staff set Performance Targets every financial year; take staff through Mid-year Performance Review to End of Year Appraisal. Assisted staffs identify agreed performance and actual performance during performance appraisal/review. Rate and reward individual/team performance.

Identify talent gaps, development needs, and recommend individual talents for training etc.

VII. Other HR Administration and Coordination

Daily update of the HR Information System/database, ranging from recruitment, performance management, etc., up to separation.

Filing. Ensure confidential document are kept in confidential manner. Ensure records of all staff such as probationary periods, End of contracts, projects and separation dates, severance and disciplinary matters are captured and documented. Provide daily support to the HR operations and administrative duties in both the project sites and at the country office.

Other Significant Input/Contribution to World Vision:

Coordinated and engaged Students for internsive training work placement programs from UPNG, PAU and Pacific Technical College.

Coordinated the HR Team for the Air Energi’s Career fair 2015, in terms of event planning, employers display, etc.

Coordinated, updated and delivered the country programs Workforce Planning FY2015.

Coordinated the recruitment and engagement of 2-3 Health Professionals in each of all the 22 provinces with World Vision’s TB DOTS Program as a single HR Officer in 2013.

Successfully recruited inducted, and placed over 30 Project officers in 4 different Projects and over 6 admin and support officers (excluding the casual officers) this year as a single HR Officer in less than 60 days.

Successfully Completed Performance Agreement, Mid-year Performance Review, and end of year Performance Appraisal for over 70 TB DOTS staff in the 22 Provinces including the country office in 2013, and 37 staff including 6 Project Managers in 5 different Projects in Bougainville in 2014.

Recruitment: Assisted OIC in Recruitment - Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary 2013 Direct Police Force Recruitment, participated in selection of 200 candidates out of over 2000 plus applications.
