Personal ProfileHaving commenced my doctoral journey in March, 2010, I graduated on the 9th of October, 2013. I am known as an innovative educator and researcher; I have interests that extend beyond the classroom walls and into blended and hybrid learning using social and participatory media. I have extensive experience in school leadership, curriculum development, eLearning and teacher professional development. I have excellent communication, time management and analytical skills. I like to take photos of what I am sketching using a digital SLR camera; this ensures that the intricate details that my eyes may not pick up can be captured digitally. I enjoy exercising regularly by walking and swimming. When possible, I like to travel internationally to explore other cultures. In the past, for many years, I was involved with Lions International and I have also been involved with ‘Meals on Wheels’.
