Recycling of used RefRactoRiesConscious of ever-increasing health, safety and environmental constraints, Valoref has invested in highly efficient refractory sorting and crushing equipment.Our reception facilities, classified CFPE (Classified Facility for the Protection of the Environment), enable us to treat up to 40 000 Tons of hazardous and non-hazardous refractory waste materials every year.We accept all types of refractories, and transform them into secondary raw materials which can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications :Refractories, concretes, mortars, abrasives, ceramics, additives…All incoming waste materials undergo a careful sorting process, which allows us to produce high-quality end products. Our on-site crushing facilities enable us to be reactive and to provide a stable and continuous supply of a large selection of grain sizes.We guarantee 100% traceability of both incoming and outgoing products.

RefRactoRy Waste managementOur mobile sorting teams intervene on site during the demolition of the glass furnace, and undertake all operations relating to the sorting, management and evacuation of the used refractories.Before each demolition, Valoref carries out an in-depth study of the furnace, including samples and analyses of the contaminants. This enables us to optimize evacuation of waste materials to the most appropriate sectors.We systematically undertake a complete risk analysis, which covers all health, safety and environmental aspects, in order to establish the optimal solution.We guarantee the evacuation and treatment of 100% of waste materials.Our specialist expertise has been acquired over nearly 30 years of interventions, with more than 1000 furnace repairs carried out throughout Europe since our creation.
