PW rangeMultigrade mild detergent & dispersantengine oils

The PW range of motor oils are mild-dispersant &detergent oils specially designed for vintage & classiccars produced up to 1950s, prior to the introductionof multigrades, where a non-detergent formulation isrequired. These oils should be used on engines thatdo not have a micro-particle filter (made of paper orfelt), as these engines require an oil that is purified bysedimentation in the sump. This oil should also beused where an engine condition is unknown.

PW engine oils reduce the dispersal of accumulatedsludge and carbon deposits that may be in theengine. It also contains corrosion inhibitors to protect the engine during prolonged periods of inactivity.

If the engine has been rebuilt or converted to use a micro-particle filter use the equivalent grade APG oil.

Running in oilRunning-in a newly rebuilt classic engine is essentialfor its long term health. Classic engines require thepistons & rings to bed in to the cylinder bores togive the correct sealing characteristics. Modern oilscontain additives that, particularly in old-styleengines, prevent correct running-in, causing glazingof the cylinders, which leads to excessive oilconsumption, requiring further disassembly &rebuilding of the engine. The running-in oil wasdeveloped to allow the beginning of running-in fornew segments on the cylinder walls. This oil must beused during the first 500 to 800 km. on old cars.

In a Hypoid type gear, the teeth simultaneouslyrotate and slide against one other. This actionrequires the use of extreme pressure (EP) additivesto prevent wear.

Transoils rangeThese straight transmission oils, without additives, have been designed for use in conical torque, non-hypoidgear systems such as straight bevel, spiral bevel or worm gears. The choice of viscosity is dictated by thetechnology used, therefore, the viscosity recommended by the manufacturer must be used. During use, themore fluid the oil, the smoother the gear change.

Normal commercial soda blasters use high air volume, but Eastwood hasdeveloped two systems to allow the home and light commercial user to soda &abrasive blast with ease. Both units are manufactured from all steel welded top-loading, large capacity (100lb/45kg) hoppers with pressure gauge and safetyvalve, all mounted to a sturdy frame. The soda/media is delivered through an 8 (2.4M) blast hose with a deadman valve for safety, and the units require aslittle as 7cfm at 80 psi, making them ideal for use with smaller compressors.

Soda blastingSoda blasting is the perfect way to remove old paint from classic car bodywork. Waxoyl is designed for use in cavitiessuch as sills, chassis leg and wheel arches to provide anti-rust protection. It spreads evenly over the applied surfaceforming an effective seal against the environment.

Underbody sealThis proven product provides protection to the underbody areas of your car suchas wheel arches, inner wings, sills and floors. It can be applied to areas at risk ofdamage from stones, grit, road salt and water to provide a tough flexible barrier,with added Waxoyl for rust inhibiting.
