AGEIt is company policy that we are unable toprovide certain services to guestsaccompanied by children. Spa treatmentsand subsequently Spa Days are notrecommended for persons under 16 years ofage, however we carry out limited treatmentsfor 13 years plus. Persons under 16 yearsold must be accompanied by a parent orsupervising adult.

SMOKING POLICYThe Lavender House is a no-smokingestablishment.

VOUCHERSYou may purchase vouchers for gifts eithervia email/telephone or at the receptiondesk. These are valid for 6 months andit is company policy that we do notextend this period.

LOST PROPERTYAll lost property found on the premises,should be handed to reception. Items will

be stored for 4 months. Liquids,undergarments and hair brushes will bekept for 24 hours only.

LATE ARRIVALWhen a late arrival is unavoidable, pleasecall to notify the receptionist as soon aspossible. Arriving late will simply limit thetime for your treatment, as we mustcomplete your personal service by thedesignated end time in order toappropriately accommodate the next guest.

SPA ATTIRESwimwear is obligatory within TheLavender House Thermal Suite. Uponarrival, we will provide you with a luxuryrobe, towel and slippers. We request thatfor your own and others benefit, you arewarm and dry prior to relaxing in thespa lounge or restaurant.

ESSENTIAL OILSMany essential oils can help to soothe andbalance hormones, but there are a numberof oils that are just too stimulating and getquickly absorbed into the blood streamwhich may harm your baby.

HEAT TREATMENTSSome studies show that getting overheatedmight be bad for the baby hence werecommend that you avoid the sauna,steam room, and rasul during this time.

CHANGING ROOMTowels, showers, hairdryers, lockersand changing rooms are provided byThe Lavender House.

TREATMENTSIt is advisable to arrive to the Spa 10-15minutes before your scheduled treatmenttime, to allow you time to complete yourSpa Consultation Form. Failure to arrive ontime may result in your treatment beingcut short.

SHAVING/WAXINGAvoid shaving the day of the appointmentespecially if you are having body scrubs,body wraps or a pedicure. Also shavingcauses pores to open, which can thenbecome infected. Waxing treatments arenot recommended should you be using thewet/heat areas. It is recommended thatmen shave at least twenty four hours priorto a facial treatment.

TINTING/GLUEIt is a company policy that all clientswishing to have a tinting treatment or atreatment that requires the use of glue,must have a patch test 24 hours prior tothe treatment in case of an allergic reaction.

CONSULTATION CARDSEnsuring our guest’s safety is crucial.A Guest Consultation Form must becompleted before each and everytreatment begins.

HOME CARETo continue your spa experience at home,most products used in our treatments areavailable at the spa reception. Home careadvice for each treatment will also be givenas a complimentary service.

CAR PARKINGThe Lavender House has its own largecar park at the front of the property.We operate on a strictly first come firstserved basis. Your registration number willbe requested upon arrival. In the interest ofother guests, you are requested to only usethe car park for the duration of yourtreatment/spa day or restaurant visit.Vehicles are left at the owners risk andThe Lavender House cannot be heldresponsible for any loss or damage.
