for example, the Environmental Guidelines and

Standards for the Petroleum Industry in Nigeria

(EGASPIN) which establishes the guidelines on

environmental and pollution management and their

enforcement based on the petroleum industry laws

and regulations. We also support and are aligned with

the efforts of agencies like the Nigerian Maritime

Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) to

control and prevent pollution in the marine

environment.

Our TeamWith over 50 years of combined experience, our team is comprised of experts

spanning the entire marine logistics value chain.

With over 50 years of combined experience, our team is

comprised of experts spanning the entire marine logistics

value chain. Mr. David Brant, our Technical and Mooring

Advisor, has 25 years of experience in ship management.

Yetunde monitors operations at Zircon Marine, working to

ensure smooth field operations, including vessel ship to ship

operations, that our equipment is up to standard to meet

charter obligations, and that client needs and operational

requirements are met, providing timely client updates on

trans-shipment operations She is responsible for operations

for the vessels chartered to IOC’s, coordinating vendor

relationship process and all maintenance and HSE matters.

Other members of the operations team at Zircon include Mr.

Namso Umaoanwan, the Senior Health Safety and

Environment (HSE) Officer who has over 22 years’

experience in HSE management, 16 of which was gained

while employed at Conoco Phillips.

The Maintenance Supervisor, Mr. Walter

Aregha is a skilled Marine Engineer with

experience working on D3, D12 and D16

marine engines, Apex 1 and Apex 2 marine

vessel using Volvo penta d6 marine engine,

and servicing of Volvo penta d16 generator.

Servicing and repairs of vessels main and

auxiliary engines. He has additional

experience on board the vessel UTM 1, UTM

2, UTM3, UTM5. Walter’s experience

includes maintaining pipes, engine rooms

and machinery aboard vessels.

Our Mooring Masters, led by John

Samtembe, have a Master’s license and

valid medical certificate. They are

experienced in ship control, spill prevention,

containment and clean up.
