TAKING NOTE of Part XII of the Convention on the

In ter-Govern.1TI.ental IvIari tj.me Consul ta ti ve Organiza tion and in

particular Article 4·8,

RECALLING that Rule 1 of the Rules Governing Relationship

with Non-GoverTh1lental International Organizations requires that

the Assembly approve consultative status granted by the Council

to such organizations,

RECALLING FURTHER tha t Rule 10 of the same Rules provj.des

for periodic review nf the lis t of non-goverrlInental il.i.terna tional organiza tions in consul ta ti.ve s ta tus wi th INCO and a rep ort to

the Assembly on the continuatinn of such status,

llilVING CONSIDERED the request of the Council at its twenty­

sixth session to approve the grant of consultative status to the

following, as bodies which are able to make a substantial

contribution to the work of the Organization:

HAVING ALSO CONSIDERED the Council's determination at its twenty-second session with regard to the continuation of the consultative status of certain organizations,

APPROVES the decision taken by the Council in confonni ty with Rule 1 of the above-mentioned Rules to grant consultative status to the above-mentioned bodies, 3nd

ENDORSES the determination of the Council to continue the conSUltative status of the following:
