Residence Hall Floor Plans and Housing Information DEFINITIONS SEMESTER HOUSING AND MEAL PLAN RATES FOR 2019-20 ACADEMIC YEAR ADDITIONAL HOUSING INFORMATION Traditional Single: A standard room designed to accommodate only one (1) student. Traditional Double: A standard room designed to accommodate two (2) students. • First Year (FY) - Room is reserved for first year students. • Upperclasswomen (UCW) - Room is reserved for sophomore, juniors, and seniors. • Shared - Room is occupied by two students. • Exclusive Use - A single student is occupying the room and paying a higher housing rate. Suite: A series of separate bedrooms (1, 2, or 3) which share common living space. Suite Single: A private bedroom designed for one (1) student that is part of a larger suite room. Suite Double: A bedroom designed for two (2) students that is part of a larger suite room. • Shared - Room is occupied by two students. • Exclusive Use - A single student is occupying the room and paying a higher housing rate. Ensuite: A series of separate bedrooms (1, 2, or 3) which share common living space and bathroom facilities. Ensuite Single: A private bedroom designed for one (1) student that is part of a larger ensuite room. Ensuite Double: A bedroom designed for two (2) students that is part of a larger ensuite room. • Shared - Room is occupied by two students. • Exclusive Use - A single student is occupying the room and paying a higher housing rate. Green Village Apartment: Four bedroom apartments which also feature common living space, full kitchen, full bathroom, laundry, and patio/deck space. Each bedroom is designed for one (1) student. Turning Point: Room designed for one (1) person who must be 23 years or older. RA Room: Room reserved for students serving as Resident Advisor. All rates are per semester and include 19-meals/week. Green Village and Turning Point students may choose 10-meals. † Students approved for reasonable housing accommodation in a traditional single room are billed $3500. ‡ Resident advisors are billed $3500 for their room, regardless of location. * 1-Bedroom Suite Singles are charged at a higher rate than Suite Singles in 2 or 3-bedroom suites. ** Ensuite Singles with only a half-bath (no shower) may be billed at $7310. Please refer to the online Housing Inventory (http://bit.ly/sbc-housing-inventory) for additional information regarding exact room dimensions, minimum/maximum capacity for each room, and any particular features/amenities in the room. • Students wishing to live in Suite/Ensuite rooms must meet the minimum capacity requirements for that room. • Students wishing to live in Green Village apartments must be rising Juniors or Seniors with a minimum 2.7 GPA. • Students wishing to live in the Reid 1st Floor Apartment must be rising Juniors or Seniors with a minimum 2.7 GPA. • Students wishing to live in the Manson “SGA Suite” must have a minimum of three (3) SGA members. DEFINITIONS

SEMESTER HOUSING AND MEAL PLAN RATES FOR 2019-20 ACADEMIC YEAR

ADDITIONAL HOUSING INFORMATION

Traditional Single: A standard room designed to accommodate only one (1) student.

Traditional Double: A standard room designed to accommodate two (2) students.

• First Year (FY) - Room is reserved for first year students.

• Upperclasswomen (UCW) - Room is reserved for sophomore, juniors, and seniors.
