INTRODUCTIONA mobile phone is a phone that can make and receive telephone calls over a radio link while moving around a wide geographic area.
It does so by connecting to a cellular network provided by a mobile phone operator, allowing access to the public telephone network. .
In addition to telephony, modern mobile phones also support a wide variety of other services such as text messaging, MMS, email, Internet access, short-range wireless communications (infrared, Bluetooth), business applications, gaming and photography.
Mobile phones that offer these and more general computing capabilities are referred to as smartphones
Filmmaking (or in an academic context, film production) is the process of making a film.
Filmmaking involves a number of discrete stages including an initial story, idea, or commission, through scriptwriting, casting, shooting, editing, and screening the finished product before an audience that may result in a film release and exhibition.
Filmmaking takes place in many places around the world in a range of economic, social, and political contexts, and using a variety of technologies and cinematic techniques.
Typically, it involves a large number of people, and can take from a few months to several years to complete.
Mobile Filmmaking means recording personal happenings, or someone's personal way of observing the world.
Over the last century, each generation of technology revolutionized filmmaking. Filmmaking on the Phone and other mobile devices is becoming the latest trend. But with the mobile filmmaking, the barrier to entry drops to something close to
zero.
It's an ultra low-cost medium.
It's easy to use.
It turns anyone into an amateur filmmaker.

AIMS To develop it as a powerful media tool for visual communication
OBJECTIVES • To know how it can be used as a promising technique for amateur film makers• To explore its various pros and cons• To visualize its potential as a revolutionary technique in the industry
HYPOTHESIS
• The hypothesis of my research topic is to educate mass as to use mobile-filmmaking as a means of cultural expression and by creating short video clips,
participants will be empowered to shape representations about themselves and their communities
• Furthermore, mobile media will link traditional mainstream and digital media in a 360 degree wave and it will soon become the driver with strategy
development and creative transformation
RESEARCH DESIGN
• Content area : A study of Mobile Filmmaking with the aim to develop it as a powerful media tool for visual communication.
• Approach student as well as general public to shoot a clip and express their feedback in the form of questionnaire.
By interviewing the faculty and students of Jyoti Chitraban Film and Television Institute, Guwahati and also by collecting the data of impact of Mobile
Filmmaking from various Institutes that provides special training on Mobile Filmmaking, through emails or social media
