Research justification

(1) How Internet influences on the academic performance of students.

(2) How teachers can identify those factors that interfere in the academic performance of students when using Internet.

(3) How teachers can take advantage of those positive factors that can enrich the teaching and learning process of students when using Internet and

(4) How the use of Internet can be improved to obtain the best of this technological tool.

Internet in education is understood as the usage of Internet technologies tosolve various educational tasks, namely, teaching, learning and management of the educational process. (UNESCO, 2013)
