• Billboard! The magazine originally focused on bill posting and outdoor amusements before specializing in the music industry in the 1960s. Billboard maintains several internationally-recognized record charts, which track the most popular songs and albums across several categories on a weekly basis. Its primary charts, the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard 200, respectively rank the top songs and albums regardless of genre, and are based on digital downloads, radio airplay, and internet streaming. Its data is largely based on the Nielsen SoundScan tracking system, which it has used since 1991.

• The target audience of the magazine is between the age of 18 and 50.

• Kerrang! It mainly concentrates on the bands like Green Day, Lost Prophets, Slipknot kind of rock bands.

• Kerrang! is a UK-based magazine devoted to rock music published by Bauer Media Group. It was first published on 6 June 1981 as a one-off supplement in the Sounds newspaper. Named after the onomatopoeic word that derives from the sound made when playing a power chord on a distorted electric guitar, Kerrang! was initially devoted to the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and the rise of hard rock acts. In the early 2000s it became the best-selling British music newspaper.

• The target audience of this magazine are Young & Mature Adults who are interested in Punk Rock music genre.

• Classic Rock is a music magazine which covers Classic or Old Age bands/artists like Guns N’ Roses, Def Leppard, Pink Floyd and Aerosmith.

• Classic Rock is a British magazine dedicated to the radio format of classic rock, published by TeamRock, who are also responsible for its "sister" publication Metal Hammer. Although firmly focusing on key bands from the 1960s through early 1990s, it also includes articles and reviews of contemporary and upcoming artists it deems worthy of note. Despite starting as an on-off project it has become one of the UK's best selling music magazines. In September 2010 it published its 150th issue and now has a higher circulation than the NME.

• Q focus on a more of a generation than a Genre. Q represents the older generation as they have been ignored. Q is the magazine for the older generation but also targeted at people who are interested in modern music as well as the iconic music which was around. The general ideology shows the greatness of music, aspects of genres and generations. It mainly focus on the well known artists or bands.

• Q target older people as the audience because they are the mature music lovers and this is what Q known for.
