RE: APPROVAL OF RESEARCH PROJECT : UUM-SUSSEX UNIVERSITY

I have reviewed the research materials that Associate Prof. Dr. Abd Halim Ahmad proposes to use in his research collaboration with the University of Sussex. The questionnaire does not contain items that are inappropriate. His arrangements for collection of questionnaire responses from students are satisfactory and he has pointed out to me that the questionnaire makes it clear that participation in the project is voluntary and that respondents are free to withdraw if they wish to do so. He has also advised me of arrangements to provide further information to respondents after data collection is complete. This collaboration between our two universities has my full support.
