Research and development activity in the institute In accordance with the statutes of the institute a research and development committee has beenformed, comprising of employees and specialists, who meet four times a year and advisemanagement on directions the institute should be taking in terms of new methods and technology toadopt.

Director of the Institute starts the first board-meeting. The chairman and a vice-chairman will beselected by the board-members. The committee makes decision casts by voting. There are 20councillors participating in the committee.
