Clarification or Change of RFP Terms SCOPE OF WORK/SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED (6) RESIDENTIAL The carts will be clearly marked with the Contractor’s name, City logo and an identifying number. RECYCLING The carts/containers will be clearly marked with the Contractor’s name, City logo and an identifying number. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS (Page 22) Dumpsters and Roll-off Carts Compactors shall be replaced upright within eighteen inches (18”) of the Customer’s placement, without obstructing traffic or damaging landscape. Collection areas shall be free of litter debris larger than three (3) inches within a ten-foot (10’) radius of Carts; EXHBIT “A” TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BIDS (Page 25)

The terms and provisions of the paragraph entitled “Firm Prices” as set forth in Exhibit “A” to RFP No. 19-003, shall be amended to read as follows:

Firm Prices: Proposers must hold Proposal prices firm for 90 days after the RFP opening date to allow the City sufficient time to negotiate and award a contract to the successful Proposer. A Proposer may include provisions in its proposed contract form that allow the Proposer, if awarded the contract, to periodically request the City’s approval of price increases during the term of the contract.

WORDING SUBSTITUTION All references in RFP No. 19-003 to “48-gallon” shall be changed to read “65-gallon”

grinder.

each route by day.

Two (2) trucks run each day. There are two (2) routes, see Exhibit “D” attached: 1. Monday/Thursday. South side of Brenham (blue routes). 2,218 customers 2. Tuesday/Friday: North side of Brenham (red routes). 3,412 customers.

5. List of Commercial accounts with the following information: Name of account, service

address, number of containers on site, container sizes, and number of pick-ups per week.

The City only provides commercial accounts with 96-gallon containers. These accounts are picked up one time per week, on Tuesday. See Exhibit “E” attached for other information.

6. List of Dumpster/Roll-Off Container accounts with the following information: Name of

account, service address, number of containers on site, container sizes, and number of pick-ups per week.

7. Notices of price increases, to be effective January 1 2020, from landfills currently being

used by the City.
