1.0 INTRODUCTION

Melkior Resources Inc. owns a 100% interest in the LL1 and LL3 properties in Castlebar Lake, Klotz Lake and Laponen Lake townships in the Thunder Bay mining district of northern Ontario, 50 kilometres east of the city of Long Lac. The LL1 property consists of 8 claims totaling 88 claim units and the LL3 property consists of 7 claims totaling 88 claim units. It occurs in the eastern part of the Long Lac-Geraldton-Beardmore Greenstone/metasedimentary belt, which hosts various gold mines in Ontario. During the end of July to the end of August of 2010, a prospecting campaign was undertaken and 94 grab samples were obtained. This report documents the prospecting results. Four samples were taken on claim 4223030 prior to being staked. The results are included in the report however not included in the costs.

The 1983 North American Datum (NAD83) co-ordinate system is used in this report. The LL1 and LL3 properties are in Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Zone 16N. Most of the assessment reports cited in this report are available on the website of the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines (www.geologyontario.mndm.gov.on.ca).

3.0 ACCESSIBILITY, CLIMATE, LOCAL RESOURCES, INFRASTRUCTURE AND PHYSIOGRAPHY

The LL1 property can be accessed via the Highway 625 south from Highway 11, a distance (by road) of approximately 5.5 kilometres (Fig. 1; Map 1). Several secondary roads and partially overgrown roads provide access to the bulk of the property.

The property is 30 kilometres southeast of the town of Long Lac. Water and power are present in the region and the property is intersected by Highway 625 in the southwest corner of the claim block and contains several trails/roads which could be upgraded to all-weather status if necessary.

The LL3 property can be accessed via the Highway 11. Highway 11 crosses the northeast claim boundary. Several secondary roads and partially overgrown roads provide access to the bulk of the property.

The property is 35 kilometres east of the town of Long Lac. Water and power are present in the region and the property is intersected by Highway 11 in the northeast corner of the claim block and contains several trails/roads which could be upgraded to all-weather status if necessary.

The climate of the Laponen Lake, Castlebar Lake and Klotz Lake is continental in nature, with cold winter (-5 to -40°C) and warm summers (+5 to +35°C). The climate does not affect the exploration in any significant manner; both summer and winter conditions allow grid cutting, geophysical surveys and diamond drilling. Winter conditions are more favourable for drilling in some swampy areas. The climate would not significantly hamper mining operations.

4.0 GEOLOGICAL SETTING

4.1 Regional Geology and Mineralization

All consolidated rocks except for Proterozoic diabase dikes are of Archean age and comprise the eastern most extension of the east-trending Beardmore-Geraldton metavolcanic-metasedimentary belt as outline by Pye et al. (1996). The Beardmore-Geraldton belt is underlain by three units of westerly trending mafic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks separated by metasedimentary units (Williams, 1986). Only minor amounts of felsic metavolcanics are present. The area is considered to be part of the Wabigoon Volcano-sedimentary Belt (Ayres, 1971), with the southernmost volcanic sequence in fault contact with the Quetico Belt, which consist of a metamorphosed turbidite sequence with gneissic equivalent. These rocks are progressively metamorphosed southwards into metatexitic migmatite and into diatexitic stages that are not present in the claimed area. The westerly trending metavolcanic and metasedimentary assemblage of the Wabigoon Belt extends for approximately 180 kilometres from Lake Nipigon to east of Little Long Lac. The repetition of major metavolcanic and metasedimentary units within the Wabigoon Belt is probably the result of isoclinals folding (Pye, 1952; Horwood and Pye, 1955; Pye et al, 1966; Mason and McConnell, 1983). However, this model has been questioned by Williams (1986), who has proposed a fore arc accretionary prim model for the origin of the belt. The three prominent shear zones of the Wabigoon Belt are: The Blackwater River, Watson Lake and Paint Lake fault zones. The Paint Lake Fault marks the boundary between the Wabigoon and the Quetico. The metavolcanics are Keewatin age and the metasediments are considered to be Timiskaming age (Pye, 1952). The belt of Archean rocks is folded, faulted and intruded by units of gabbro, diorite, granodiorite and diabase. The metavolcanics are predominantly composed of mafic to intermediated (basaltic to andesitic) flows and flow breccias, which exhibit a wide range of textures, but have a similar mineralogy. The metasediments are composed mainly of interbedded greywacke, arkose, siltstone and iron formation units. Several exposures consist of magnetite ironstone interlayered with chert (oxide-facies iron formation) and pyrite-pyrrhotite ironstone containing graphite (sulphide-facies iron formation). The iron formation units within the southern metasedimentary unit can be extrapolated from aeromagnetic maps onto a geological map as continuous horizons and can be correlated across the entire Beardmore-Geraldton Belt. The intrusive rocks consist of the Wee David Lake stock, which is highly variable from diorite to tonalite at the margin with the enclosing rocks; the Paglamin Lake stock, which is a granodiorite to quartz monzonite stock distinguished

Page 11: Report on 2010 Prospecting by Melkior Resources Inc. on ... · 5 540000 540000 550000 550000 560000 560000 570000 570000 5500000 5500000 5510000 5510000 5520000 5520000 ontario ¯

8

by blue quartz “eyes” and phenocrysts of potash feldspar, and the O’meara stock, which is predominantly a biotite quartz monzonite body partly exposed (Amukum and Gillespie, 1980). The regional metamorphic rank to which the rock have been subjected ranges from the chlorite zone of the greenschist facies (Turner, 1968) in the metavolcanics to lower amphibolites facies conditions in the metasediments. 4.2 Property Geology

The distribution of rock outcrop within the claim boundaries are sparse and the majority is covered by Pleistocene deposits or glacial ridges.

Two main rock types were identified on the LL1 property; the mafic metavolcanic rocks and metasedimentary rocks. The mafic metavolcanic rocks are green, with massive to pillowed basalts displaying aphanitic to medium grained texture. Chlorite and silica are the main alterations and are generally present throughout the metavolcanic sequences. In local areas, unsually near the contact with the metasediments, a weak to moderate pervasive carbonate (calcite) alteration is present.

The metasedimentary rocks consist of weakly to strongly foliated units of greywacke, arkose and mudstone associated with the iron formations. The metasedimentary rocks are composed of a very fine grained matrix hosting coarse, angular grains of quartz and plagioclases. Silica and rarely epidote are found in alteration.

Iron formation outcrops throughout the property are generally interbedded with greywacke and mudstone units, and are usually injected by centimetric quartz vein. The iron formation (B.I.F) units are 0.5 to 2 metres wide and exposed along strike for several metres. The units are usually parallel to the regional schistosity and are comprised of fine grained quartz rich layers and dark magnetic bands composed of magnetite and iron rich amphiboles. In some areas blebs of pyrite (up to 5%) are found in the magnetite rich layers.

5.0 Previous Work

Previous work on the LL1 and LL3 property is incompletely documented as the majority of work performed was done prior to 1980. The following section is a summary on previous exploration completed by other companies and taken from the assessment reports available on the website of the Ontario Ministry of Northern Development and Mines (www.geologyontario.mndm.gov.on.ca).

In the late 1950’s and mid 1960’s Pawgwachuan Can-Fer Mines Ltd. and Algoma Steel performed ground magnetometer surveys and follow-up drill programs on what is now the LL1 property. The magnetometer surveys outlined bedded iron formations (B.I.F.) within the metasedimentary rock units. A total of six diamond drill holes intersected the B.I.F..

In April 1970, Canadian Nickel Company drilled four diamond drill holes totaling 688.5 metres within the LL3 property area. The drill holes disseminated stringers of pyrite and pyrrhotite, approximately 1 to 10%, with traces of chalcopyrite within metavolcanics.

In 1979, Shell Canada Resources undertook an airborne magnetometer survey covering LL1 property and followed up with a ground surface sampling program. In February 1980, Shell drilled approximately 278 feet on the LL3 property however no economic mineralization was encountered. Graphitic argillite was intersected. A second drill program comprising 58 feet was completed on LL1 property. A carbonate rich chert containing 20% pyrrhotite was encountered and explained the anomaly.

139250 Canada Inc. had a helicopter-borne magnetic and electromagnetic survey flown over the LL1 property in 1985. Several conductors were outlined.

Glen Auden Resources Ltd. undertook a geological mapping and grab sample program in the late fall, early winter of 1989. A total of 28 grab samples were collected.

6.0 EXPLORATION BY MELKIOR

In April 2008, Aeroquest completed a 166.4 line-kilometre AeroTem III (Mike) time domain helicopter electromagnetic survey covering the LL1 property in Laponen Lake Township and 234.4 line-kilometres on covered the LL3 property. The surveys successfully mapped the magnetic and conductive properties of the geology throughout the survey areas.

Melkior completed two prospecting campaigns in October 2008 and August 2009. A total of 252 rocks samples were collected and 50 outcrops were described. Anomalous gold values were obtained.

In 2010, Exscis Exploration Ltd. completed an Induced Polarization (IP) survey on the LL3 property covering 26.1 line-kilometres. The ground program was successful in locating and outlining three good structural zones across the grid. The main target was a strong IP zone that crosses lines 0+00 to, and including, 12+00. The zone is associated with a resistivity low and a magnetic high (Exsics, 2010).

Exsics Exploration Ltd. undertook a 14 kilometre magnetometer survey and 14 kilometre IP survey in October 2011 on the LL1 property. The magnetic survey was successful in locating three strong east-west striking magnetic high units, which continued off the present grid in both directions. The IP survey outlined a number of conductive trends across the grid (Grant, 2011).

7.0 DEPOSIT TYPES

The geological context present on Melkior's Eldorado claims group is favorable to the discovery of a multistage late-

replacement gold deposit confined by a shear zone; a stratabound sediment hosted gold deposit or a gold bearing iron

formation deposit.

8.0 EXPLORATION

During the end of July to the end of August 2010 exploration program, a total of 94 rock samples were collected. Table

10.0 SAMPLE METHOD APPROACH

All sampling work was done in the form of grab. For each sample a flag, with a unique number on it, was tied to a tree in

the vicinity and another orange flag, showing the sample number was left at all the sampling sites. The spacing between

samples varied according to the outcrop density.

Collected samples were analyzed for gold via fire assay and were underwent multi-element analysis using ALS Chemex

procedure ME-ICP41. All samples were delivered to ALS Chemex’s sample preparation laboratory in Timmins, Ontario or

Val-D’or, Quebec. All samples were then crushed and pulverized, and then the samples were sent to ALS Chemex

Laboratory in Vancouver, B.C. for analysis. The author has not identified any sampling or recovery factors that could

have materially affected the accuracy and reliability of the results.

11.0 SAMPLE PREPARATION, ANALYSES AND SECURITY

A total of 94 grab samples were forwarded, processed and analyzed for gold by ALS Chemex Laboratory in Val-D’Or, Quebec and by ALS Chemex Laboratory in Vancouver, B.C. for multi-elements. ALS Chemex quality system complies with the requirements of the international standards IS0 9001; 2000 and ISO 17025:1999.

Samples were collected in the field and processed by personnel of Melkior Resources. Many of the samples were re-examined in camp, and sample shipping was completed under the direction of Jens E. Hansen, the author of this report. Samples were immediately placed in plastic sample bags in the field, tagged and recorded with unique sample numbers. Sealed samples were placed in shipping bags, which in turn were sealed with plastic tie straps or fiberglass tape. The bags remained sealed until ALS Chemex personnel in Timmins, Ontario or Val-D’Or, Quebec opened them to crush and pulverize the samples in preparation to be analyzed by ALS Chemex in Vancouver, B.C.. Gold samples were processed in Val-D’Or, Quebec.

Upon receipt, samples are placed in numerical order and compared with the packing list to verify receipt of all the samples. If the received samples do not correspond to the list, the customer is notified.

Samples are dried if necessary and then reduced to ¼ inch with a jaw crusher. The jaw crusher is cleaned with compressed air between samples and barren material between sample batches. The sample is then reduced to 90% -10 meshes with a roll crusher. The roll crusher is cleaned between samples with a wire brush, compressed air and barren material between sample batches. The first sample of each sample batch is screened at 10 meshes to determine that 90% passes 10 meshes. Should 90% not pass, the roll crusher is adjusted and another test is done. Screen test results are recorded in the logbook provided for this purpose. The sample is ten riffled using a Jones-type riffle to approximately 300 g. Excess material is stored for the customer as a crusher reject. The 300 g portion is pulverized to 90% -200 meshes in a ring and puck type pulveriser, the pulveriser is cleaned between samples with compressed air and silica sand between batches. The first sample of each batch is screened at 200 meshes to determine that 90% passes 200 meshes. Should 90% not pass, the pulverizing time is increased and another test is done. Screen test results are recorded in the logbook provided for this purpose.

11.1 Gold Fire Assay AA Finish

A 29.166 g sample is weighed into a crucible that has been previously charged with approximately 130 g of flux. The sample is then mixed and 1 mg of silver nitrate is added. The sample is then fused at 1800 F for approximately 45 minutes. The sample is then poured in a conical mould and allowed to cool; after cooling, the slag is broken off and the lead button weighing 25-30 g is recovered. This lead button is then coupled at 1600 F until all the lead is oxidized. After cooling, the dore bead is placed in a 12 x 75 mm test tube. 0.2 ml of 1:1 nitric acid is added and allowed to react in a water bath for 30 minutes, 0.3 ml of concentrated hydrochloric acid is then added and allowed to react in the water bath for 30 minutes. The sample is then removed from the water bath and 4.5 mil of distilled water is added, the sample is thoroughly mixed allowed to settle and the gold is determined by atomic absorption.

Each furnace batch comprises 28 samples that include a reagent blank and gold standard. Crucibles are not reused until all the results of the sample results are obtained. Crucibles that have gold values of 200 ppb are discarded. The lower detection limit is 5 ppb.

11.2 ME-ICP41 Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) (From www.alsglobal.com: ME-ICP41)

A prepared sample is digested with aqua regia in a graphite heating block. After cooling, the resulting solution is diluted to 12.5 mL with deionized water, mixed and analyzed by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry. The analytical results are corrected for inter-element spectral interferences.

NOTE: In the majority of geological matrices, data reported from an aqua regia leach should be considered as representing only the leachable portion of the particular analysis.

Detection limits are shown in Appendix C.

12.0 DATA VERIFICATION

The author declares that the quality control measures and data verification procedures are satisfactory and comply with the best practice of Canadian mining procedures and standards.

13.0 ADJACENT PROPERTIES

The only past producing gold mine within the area is the Theresa Gold Mine Ltd, located approximately 8 kilometres south of Longlac and 18 kilometres of the LL1 property. Active exploration and mining occurred between 1945 to 1954 and the mine produced 4,7885 ounces of gold and 202 ounces of silver from approximately 35,000 tonnes of ore grading 5.69g/t gold.

The two main rock types within the mine were a medium-grained diorite to quartz diorite and a fine-grained mafic rock that locally contained rounded feldspar phenocrysts. Locally auriferous quartz veins were associated with tourmaline, chlorite and occasionally sulphides such as pyrite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite.

17.0 INTERPRETATION, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

The sampling undertaken in the presently reported program was an extension of a sampling program in 2009. The current sample data was reviewed in conjunction with the Aeroquest 2008 airborne survey and IP surveys conducted in 2010 and 2011.

The most significant gold value obtained on the LL1 property was 0.985 g/t gold on claim 4227672. This sample is located approximately coincident with the previously reported gold assays of up to 3.43 g/t gold. The reported 3540 ppm arsenic is representative of mineralization in this area. The gold mineralization is approximately coincident with an Aero-TEM conductor and is located at the nose of a fold indentified by airborne magnetic. The underlying geology of the locations sampled is mafic volcanic within an envelope of metasediments. The gold values from the two sampling surveys suggest that this location merits diamond drilling. To more precisely spot the hole, two lines of Max-Min are recommended.

A second location sampled occurs on the claim line between 4227670 and 4223030. Very weakly anomalous gold was detected coincident with highly anomalous arsenics (up to 10,000 ppm). The location approximates a coincident with a series of Aero TEM anomalies. To better define the mineral potential of this location it is recommended that a soil gas hydrocarbon (SGH) survey be undertaken on a grid of 500 metre long lines centered on the sample location and extended from 500 metres east and west.

The third location sampled is located on claim 4227669. The assayed values of gold are considered insufficient to merit further work.

The LL3 block is covered by extensive glacial overburden hence outcrop is relatively sparse and sampling limited to outcrop which is generally not in the locations of electromagnetic targets identified by the 2008 Aero-TEM survey.

From airborne data and work by others on adjoining properties claims 4216019 and 4216021 would appear the most interesting. To survey these areas additional work would be required. A SGH survey of these claims is recommended. While taking the SGH sample, additionally acquiring a B horizon soil sample should be considered.

The current sampling program obtained some anomalous mineralization on claim 4216023 in the southeast corner. A value of up to 1155 ppm copper and 1.9 g/t silver was obtained. The gold values at this location were below 50 ppb. Farther north also close to the eastern boundary of claim 4216023 anomalous silver (1.4 g/t) was obtained with 0.069 g/t gold.

It is recommended for the next phase of exploration, work should be concentrated on claims 4216019 and 4216021 with SGH and geochemistry being the preferred techniques. Drilling is dependent on geochemical results and is not considered at this stage.

Revision 06.02 Apr 20, 2009

Geochemical Procedure

ME- ICP41

Trace Level Methods Using Conventional ICP- AES Analysis

Sample Decomposition:

Nitric Aqua Regia Digestion (GEO-AR01)

Analytical Method:

Inductively Coupled Plasma - Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP - AES)

A prepared sample is digested with aqua regia in a graphite heating block. After cooling, the resulting solution is diluted to 12.5 mL with deionized water, mixed and analyzed by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectrometry. The analytical results are corrected for inter-element spectral interferences. NOTE: In the majority of geological matrices, data reported from an aqua regia leach should be considered as representing only the leachable portion of the particular analyte.
