Rental Scheme

Interest Free Refundable Security Deposit Rs. 2500/-Monthly Rentals Rs. 100 per month till the date of deactivation

The above amount excludes all applicable taxes, initial installmentcharges, activation charges and subscription amounts.

Terms & Conditions of Rental offer

The Terms and Conditions contained herein form a legally valid andbinding Contract between Sun Direct TV Private Limited, hereinaftercalled Sun Direct and the Subscriber (named in the applicationform) and their respective successors / assigns / heirs / executors /administrators, as the case may be.

Definition of CPE :- Customer Premises Equipment or CPEmeans STB, ODU, Viewing Card and other tools andequipments/devices which are owned by Sun Direct and installed /tobe installed at the Subscriber Premises to enable Sun Direct toprovide its DTH Services.

This Rental Scheme is available only at select authorized dealers/distributors/ retailers of Sun Direct.

Sun Direct is the owner of the CPE and hereby agrees to rent the

CPE to the subscriber under the terms and conditions enlistedbelow:

The subscriber subscribes to Sun Direct services for a minimumperiod of 1 year at the time of activation/from the date of activationof the Sun DTH services.

The Smart Card shall always remain the property of Sun Direct

The subscriber pays an interest free refundable security deposit of

Rs. 2500/- at the time of activation of Sun Direct connection andthereafter continues to pay monthly rentals of Rs. 100 per month asrent for the CPE till the date of discontinuation of the rentalscheme. The monthly rentals shall be paid by the subscriber on orbefore the 5th day of each succeeding month. Any single default inthe payment of the monthly rental shall entitle the Company toforfeit the security deposit paid by the subscriber and claim backthe CPE and the SMC.

The subscriber shall not sell, or offer for sale, assign, mortgage,pledge, underlet, lend or otherwise deal with the CPE or any interestin it but will keep the CPE in his own possession and will not remove

the same from its present address mentioned as Customer premisesin the SAF.

Any shifting/ relocation of the CPE shall be done only with the priorwritten permission of Sun Direct and shall be charged by Sun Direct

as per its policies framed from time to time.

The ownership of the CPE and all other rights and interests in theCPE shall at all times vest with Sun Direct.

The subscriber at his own expense agrees to maintain the CPE ingood working conditions. Any damage to the equipment during theduration of the rent period shall be borne exclusively by thesubscriber. Sun Direct would provide services for the Set-Top Boxduring the duration of the rent period at its authorized repair

centers.

In the event of discontinuation of the rental scheme at any time byeither of the parties, the subscriber shall be duty bound toimmediately return the CPE and the SMC in good and normalworking conditions to Sun Direct. Upon receipt of the CPE on as iswhere is basis, Sun Direct shall refund the amount of securitydeposit to the customer.

In the event the subscriber returns the CPE in a damaged conditionupon discontinuation, then Sun Direct shall refund the securitydeposit only after deducting the charges that may be required forthe repair of the CPE.

Upon discontinuation of this Rental Scheme due to a single defaultin the payment of monthly rental, Sun Direct shall repossess theCPE and refund the security deposit after deducting the charges forre-possession and any other charges towards damage of the CPE.

The scheme is available after due verification of the subscriber andat the discretion of Sun Direct and the decision of Sun Direct shall

be final in this regard.

All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdictions of the Courts inChennai Only.
