Supplying and applying water proof film of Zydex Industries over existing brick bat coba concrete surface and all
round the wall upto 600mm height from the concrete floor as per manufacturer specification as per the details
below: Clean the surface completely and remove all loose particles and existing damaged waterproofing layers and
dry the surface completely. Loose plastered surface if any shall be removed and re-plastered with CM 1:4 as
mentioned in item No.2 including repairing of brick bat coba concrete surface wherever necessary using 1:4:8
mix(1 cement, 4 sand and 8 brick bats) upto 150mm thick with integral water proofing compound of pidilite/fosroc
make. Before applying water proof layer, cracks on the surface shall be filled with with Zyco prime and cement in
the ratio 1:2.5 and cure for a day. Then Supplying and applying Zycosil, Zyco prime and water in the ratio 1:2:20 by
volume using pressure pump and nozle till the surface attains complete saturation and leave the surface for drying
for a day. The rate shall include costs of all materials, labour charges, curing, scaffolding etc. complete as directed
with 5 years performance guarantee.

REPAIRS TO DAMAGED STRUCTURAL MEMBERS WITH POLYMER MODIFIED MORTAR (PMM) IN
INTEROR AREA:
Chip-off/Breaking, corrosion damaged/cracked/spalled concrete including plastering along the cracks on
structural members such as beam/column/sunshade or any other structural members carefully by low impact
Hammer Breaker (electrically operated) without damaging the structure and make sure that the contaminated
concrete is removed completely, including removing and stacking of all unserviceable material at site,
simultaneous transportation and disposal of debris outside colony etc. Complete.
Exposing and cleaning the reinforcement thoroughly by light tapping / wire brushing using strong emery paper
and finally by rust remover acetone (Rusticide or equivalent) and make sure that there are no traces of rust on the
surface of existing rebars. Cleaning the reinforcement and the concrete surface thoroughly with potable water
and keeping the surface for drying. Mix the base and hardener of the zinc rich epoxy resin(Nito Zinc Primer of
Fosroc or equivalent) mechanically using a slow speed heavy duty drilling machine fitted with mixing paddle. Apply
the mixed materials with brush on the cleaned rebar in two coats with time interval of minimum 4 hours between
each coat and allow it to dry complete as directed.
Wet the concrete surface with potable water and make sure that the surface is kept moist so that the
water cement ratio in the polymer modified mortar is maintained during the application.
Repairing the surface after carrying out above operations by supplying and applying polymer modified
mortar of average 40 mm thick in layers not exceeding 20 mm in a day in the proportion 1 : 5:15 ( 1
Polymer: 5Cement: 15 Quartz sand ) by weight followed by a smooth finish after applying (by brushing)
polymer based jointing compound by mixing the polymer and cement in the ratio of 1:1 by volume to the
prepared surface as per the specification of manufacturer or as directed.
