In this article I learned that there are many types of renewable energy, and that wind turbines are efficient but only if there in a field not just anywhere. But research is being done to be able to put wind turbines in the ocean.

I went in to this RJ#2 still knowing very little about renewable energy. this book talked about co2 emissions and how bad we are about reducing them. it also said that we need to drastically reduce our co2 emissions before our world is overwhelmed by global warming.

I found this source. In this site, I found out there are many other ways of using renewable energy besides turbines and solar energy. Geothermal energy is a form of renewable energy that involves piping going under your house into the earth and heat your home in the Winter, while cooling it in the Summer. I had the pleasure of interviewing Mrs. Kinley and I learned many things about renewable energy from her, that I didn’t know. I learned from her that burning coal and fossil fuels is the number one cause of global warming. I also learned that studies are being done to find out where and how we can put wind turbines in the ocean. They are doing this because there are no obstructions in the ocean to block the wind.

what I learnedI learned many things throughout this process including time management skills, and things that included renewable energy. I learned thatrenewable energy with the right types of renewable energy is endless. Wind turbines, if money is put into them, will double the savings of the initial to install them.
