It is the home’s first impression. A foyer is a place of transit

Every object must serve a function. Aesthetics being a form of function.

The chair should be discreet, understated, yet evoke powerful emotions. It should blend into it’s environment, only aware to

the keen observer. Once discovered, the aesthetics of the chair should make a user feel tranquil and serene. The chair should

function as a piece of art and a piece of furniture.

The Remy supports itself via an ascending distribution of weight towards the center, while balancing itself by providing a platform for a person to stand on as he or she leans on The Remy.
