SBC Kids Ministry Opportunity

“Snack Captains”

We are seeking 4 couples (or individuals) who would provide snacks for SBC Kids on Sunday mornings. These Snack Captains would set up a rotation among themselves to provide these snacks. These snacks consist of sliced apples, sliced grapes, cheese and Honey Nut Cheerios. The Snack Captains would prepare these and help serve children between the two Sunday morning services (from 10:30 until 11 am). Contact John Mangiamelli or Alan Jarboe for more info.

Who can show us any good? David the psalmist then goes on, “Let the light of Your face shine upon us, O Lord.” Real goodness has only one source. It comes from the Lord, and when He lifts up the light of His face upon us, that light dispels our darkness, our anxieties, our worries, our fears. We are filled with joy. Sometimes I think we need to remember that no matter how negative things

may appear, whether politically, in our family relationships, in our finances, on the news...whatever, God is ultimately the One in charge. of a compromised heart condition, no further procedures will be done at this time. 4/13 2. A woman named MARIE MARIE MARIE MARIE has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Pray for healing and peace for her. 4/13 3. LOIS SEELY LOIS SEELY LOIS SEELY LOIS SEELY will resume her chemo on Monday, May 8th. Pray she will be able to tolerate the treatment. 5. Robert Wilson’s sister LOUISE LOUISE LOUISE LOUISE has been diagnosed with lung cancer. Pray for healing. Pray for peace and

comfort for her and her family. 6. Monica Schroeder’s brother MARK MARK MARK MARK had a second surgery with radiation that had no effect whatsoever. His heart aches for his family to come to faith in Jesus. Pray for salvation for them and peace and comfort for him. 7. Phil Capogna’s brother STEVE STEVE STEVE STEVE has not started chemotherapy at this time for prostate cancer. There

is another therapy they are going to try first. Pray this therapy will be successful. Pray for peace and comfort for him.

8. Please be in prayer for JAMES JOHNSON JAMES JOHNSON JAMES JOHNSON JAMES JOHNSON who has stage 4 advanced cancer in the bones and lymph nodes. The cancer has spread to all of his body. Pray for comfort for his family.

9. KRIS BOWER KRIS BOWER KRIS BOWER KRIS BOWER is responding really well to the chemo treatments and the cancer marker has dropped from 649 to 256 with only two treatments. Because she is on chemo again she cannot qualify for a “study” at this time. If the treatments stop being so effective she will be considered for a study. Some of her painful symptoms have left and she feels better. Continue to pray for complete healing.

A COUPLECOUPLECOUPLECOUPLE put earnest money to purchase a house. The inspection failed and the realtor is not wanting to return the money. Pray the results of the test will be good. 6. Pray for a young woman named JENNAJENNAJENNAJENNA. She had a severe allergic reaction to a med and had to be flown to a hospital emergency room. She is not doing well. Pray for wisdom for the doctors treating her. Pray for her family. 7. Dolly Watts brother-in-law LARRY CREASEY LARRY CREASEY LARRY CREASEY LARRY CREASEY had a heart procedure done and has been transferred to a rehab center. He was feeling better and was able to sit up in bed to eat, but now he is not doing well. Continue to pray for his family. Pray for complete healing.

She is very frustrated. Pray for quick healing and peace. Continue to pray for TIM. TIM. TIM. TIM. He has a bad bladder infection now.... Pray for quick healing for him. 9. CATHIE OSBORNE CATHIE OSBORNE CATHIE OSBORNE CATHIE OSBORNE had back surgery on Monday, April 3rd. The surgery went very well but she is still experiencing pain. She is now home. Pray for relief of pain and complete recovery.

They are needing prayer for better health and for decisions that need to be made by the family. Pray for wisdom for all involved. 12. Bob Ferron’s son RAYMONDRAYMONDRAYMONDRAYMOND had 3 blood clots in his leg, which were cutting off blood flow to his foot. Now that they have been removed, his foot is looking better, but there is still a possibility of amputation. Pray for healing. Pray that this might bring him back to the Lord. 13. Doug & Lonna Munson’s daughter CHERIE CHERIE CHERIE CHERIE has been diagnosed with "Hashimoto's" and has seen a specialist who has sent her to another specialist. She has an appointment sometime in May. She has been feeling better. Pray for peace and comfort for her and her family. 14. Continue to pray for Carol Kehm’s son-in-law RUDYRUDYRUDYRUDY who took a terrible fall. The healing continues. He is

walking more around the house, small walks outside and has less pain. The doctors say the back will most likely take a year or so to heal. Time will tell! Praise God for His mercy and love .We are very grateful for all your prayers . 4/19
