Youth Fund Raiser

On Wednesday, November 15th the Youth Group will be

hosting a Chili Cook-off and Dessert Auction

during our normal Wednesday Night Mealtime. This is a fundraiser to support our student's winter retreat in January to Elevate Camp in Gatlinburg, TN. For anyone interested in Signing up to participate in the Chili Cook-off or bring a Dessert to be auctioned off sign up in the Grand Hall and Fellowship Hall, or see Zack. There will be prizes for the Top Three Chilies.

Trip to Coca-Cola Museum Planned

We are planning a tour of the Coca-Cola Museum in Corinth, MS on November 6. The new museum houses memorabilia dating back to around 1900 and even has an old fashioned soda fountain.

Appetizers will be at the home of Jennifer and Steve Williams, 424 Stage Road from 6:00-6:45 Dinner at Host Homes at 7:00 p.m. Desserts will be at the home of Callie and Sidney Kidder, 103 Tall Oaks Drive at 8:00

Sign Up for homes to have dinner will be in the Grand Hall beginning Sunday, October 29th. You may also sign up to join us for dinner and we will assigned homes and your hostess will let you know by December 1 where you will having dinner and what you will need to bring. The flowers gracing our altar today have been given to the glory of God and in honor of Karen Van Sickle on her birthday from her children..

Veterans’ Day Recognition Recognition of our Veterans will be November 12th during both services. Each veteran will be asked to come down front and say their name and branch they served in - also how many years and anything else they want to share. We request this year that each Veteran submit two pictures to the office. Also any veterans that have passed can have their family pictures submitted by a family member so they can be recognized. Finally we will have the fellowship hall decorated in their honor so we encourage all of them to meet there after the first service.
