What Is Fluoride Varnish?

Fluoride varnish is very similar to a

fluoride treatment at the dentist but

rather than a gel being placed in a

tray and put in a child’s mouth, the

fluoride varnish is painted on the

Fluoride strengthens the teeth and

helps prevent tooth decay. In the

early stages, it can even slow down

or stop the decay process.
