Our base commissary is located aboard Parris Island on Wake Boulevard, Bldg. 407.
Our commissary offers a wide variety of services such as bakery, deli, and early bird
shopping hours. For more information on our local commissary or for store hours,

MCAS Beaufort Exchange is located in Bldg. 1283 and can be help with further
assistance by calling (843)228-7769. The MCAS Exchange carries item that are need-
ed for a quick stop. This exchange offers savings on national brands in electronics,
music, and men and women's clothing. The Military Clothing office is also located in
the MCX to help with all of your uniform needs. Hours of operation are Monday
thru Friday 0600-2300, Saturday and Sunday 0800-2300.
The Main MCX is located aboard MCRD Parris Island in Bldg. 409. This MCX offers
items such as health and beauty aids, house wares, jewelry, cosmetics, women’s,
children’s and men’s clothing, military gifts, music, electronics, furniture and
sporting goods. Hours of operation include Monday through Saturday 0600-2200
and Sunday 0700-2200. For more information on the Main Exchange please call
(843)228-1538.

Relocating to MCAS Beaufort
Base Services
Temporary Lodging Facility
The deTreville House Temporary Lodging Facility is located aboard MCAS Beaufort at
Bldg. 1108, Delalio Avenue and can be reached at 843-522-1663. The deTreville
House provides rooms that are equipped with private bathrooms, A/C , TV/HBO,
basic household needs, and full housekeeping services. Contact the front desk for
more information on the deTreville House or to make a reservation.

All motorized vehicles operated aboard the Air Station must be registered with the
vehicle registration. Decals and temporary passes are issued at the front gate locat-
ed in Bldg. 859. All vehicles must be registered within 30 days of reporting date.
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 0630-1700 and closed on week-
ends and federal holidays. After working hours or on weekends PMO will issue you
a temporary pass at the front gate.
The following documents are required to obtain a vehicle registration:
Valid driver’s license
Military ID
Valid vehicle registration for the vehicle
Proof of insurance with all drivers’ names on the policy
All vehicles traveling aboard MCAS Beaufort are subject to random spot checks by
military police for current state, base registration and safety inspections. For more
information on vehicle registration, please call PMO at (843)228-7750.
Motorcycle operators should have all of the documents listed above as well as a valid endorsed motorcycle license from South Carolina or your home of record in your possession. You must also have proof of attending a motorcycle safety course, regardless of the age. For more information on the motorcycle operator require-ments, please contact the Motorcycle Club President, SSgt Salvatore Abate.
Weapons Registration
All personal weapons, to include firearms, must be registered at the Visitor’s Center just inside the main gate. After registration, if you are staying in the barracks, your weapon will be stored at the Armory located on Kimes Ave in Bldg. 1260.

grades of E-1 through E-5, W0-1 through CW0-
2, 0-1 through 0-3, and all accompanied OCO-
NUS personnel will be assigned an appropriate
sponsor.

ing 728. If afterhours, check-ins report to the

7509. To get to VMFA 312 from the front gate,
make the first left (at the theater), follow the
road through the second gate. VMFA-312 will
be on the left just after 122 and 115.

Your DEERS registration verifies your eligibly to receive TRICARE benefits. You can update
your information in DEERS by visiting a uniformed services personnel office. This office is
located in the IPAC building (Bldg. 807) aboard MCAS Beaufort. Updating TRICARE can

Updating DEERS
Base housing is managed by Atlantic Marine Corps Communities (AMCC). The pro-cess to start an application for on-base housing begins with the Military Housing Office. To speak with the Military Housing Office, please call 843-228-6000. Their fax number is 843-228-6422. Please be advised that there is currently a waitlist for housing. There are two housing areas, one located on Parris Island and one on Lau-rel Bay. The Laurel Bay Housing Community, located about three miles straight across from the Air Station main gate, is made up of several smaller neighborhoods within Laurel Bay. Playgrounds, swimming pools, community centers and local events are available to all residents living in base housing. www.tricommandcommunities.com For those of you who are interested in living out in town, you will be pleased to hear that the area, whether you live in Beaufort, Lady’s Island, Bluffton or somewhere else nearby, is full of local charm, historical sites, and various festivals and events for the whole family to enjoy. The Lending Locker
The Lending Lockers are located in the MCAS
IPAC Building, building 807, and also in the
Family Service Center, at 63 E. Laurel Bay Blvd.
on Laurel Bay. The Lending Locker is designed
to set up a temporary household while waiting
on household goods from PCSing for up to 30
days. To check out items from the Lending
Locker, the service member will have to pro-
vide a military ID, new command address and
phone number, new residence address and
phone number. For assistance with the Lend-

property and personnel (service members and family members), to process and
