-Judaism - Judaism makes up only about 0.2% of the world’s population. - There are three different branches of Judaism. They

are Orthodox, Conservative, and Reformed.

-- Some of the major holidays that are celebrated in Judaism are Hanukkah, Passover, Rosh Hashanah, and Yom Kippur. - The Torah is the holy book of Judaism.

IslamIslam The word “Islam” means “peace through the submission to God.” A person who practices Islam is called Muslim The word “Muslim” means “anyone or anything that submits itself

to the will of God” Muslims believe in one God and the teachings of the prophet

Muhammad They call their God “Allah” There are the five pillars or practices of Islam, the pillars must be

practiced in order to be considered a true Muslim– Shahadah - belief in Muhammad and that there is one God – Formal prayer five times a day. – Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. – Poor-due "tax" - 2.5% of savings given to the poor at the end of each

year – Pilgrimage to Mecca- (travel to the city of Mecca) at least once
