I. Reliant Plus V.2.10.5 Software Installation Instructions (Vista OS)

1. Insert Ares IV Disk on your CD drive, Browse CD to view contents and Double Click on setup.exe. 2. Follow the installation Instructions. 3. Once the program is installed a user manual will appear in your desktop screen; double click on the icon to view manual.

II. P8000-DTU Data Transfer Unit Installation Instructions (Vista OS)

1. Plug the RJ11 connector of the P8000-DTU into the DS9490R.

2. Plug the DS9490R into a USB port of your PC.

Windows will prompt you with the screen “Locate and install driver software (recommended)”. Click on this option.

3. Select the option “Browse my computer for driver software”.

4. Click on the Browse button.

5. Browse for Folder

a. Select your CD drive b. Select “Drivers” c. Press OK

6. Click on Next

7. Click on Install

III. Trouble Shooting

1. If the above procedure to install the DS9490R driver fails you can use the “Device Manager” located at the “Control Panel”

2. Click on “Start” and then on “Control Panel”

3. Double Click on “Device Manager”.

4. Disconnect and connect again the DS9490R. 5. Click on “Cancel” on the “Found New Hardware” screen.

6. Double Click on “Unknown Device”. 7. Select Driver Tab. 8. Select “Update Driver”.

10. Click on the Browse button.
