    Releasing Fear and Changing it through Meditation

    What exactly is Fear? Do any o us really !no"? The Dictionary descri#es Fearas:

    $distressing emotion aroused #y im%ending danger& e'il& %ain& etc.& "hether

    the threat is real or imagined( the eeling or condition o #eing araid)

    Though that is an accurate de*nition #y standards there is still so much a#out

    it that "e do not understand ho" to ex%lain or e'en react to. Many o us ha'e

    had times "here a situation or e'ent has caused Fear to rule our li'es or

    either a short %eriod o time or e'en longer. This can certainly #e distressing

    es%ecially i the ear is rooted in something that "e are consciously una"are

    o. +n this manner it #ecomes di,cult or us to recogni-e the ear or exactly

    "hat it is so that "e can learn to either control it or attac! it head on. nce

    "e learn that "e can ace the ears that "e ha'e and augment them in order

    to release them rom our li'es& there is a release that occurs that hel%s to

    ree the mind and allo" the li'ing o lie more easily.

    Far #e it rom me to tell anyone "hat they should or should not do in lie that

    is o#'iously "hat "e ha'e ree "ill or. + do suggest that e'eryone at some

    %oint try to *nd the #ase o their ears and change that #ase so that the ear

    no longer a/ects them. There are certainly many di/erent "ays that this can

    #e done& many that are tried and true li!e hy%notism& and others that are

    ne"ly created li!e meditation. + "ould li!e to tal! a #it a#out the latter and

    a#out using meditation and sel a"areness in order to release oursel'es rom

    our ears.

    Through most o our li'es "e li'e "ith ear and in a "orld o ear. We are

    taught 'ery early that there are things to #e araid o& and instead o using

    that to em%o"er oursel'es "e choose to allo" it to consume us "hen it

    comes. Fear can come 0uic!ly& almost instantaneous in situations. +t can also

    #e #uilt o'er years and years that ear #ecoming stronger and stronger as it

    gro"s. The %ro#lem is that "hen "e ha'e a moment o ear& "e don1t ha'e

    rational thought through that moment. When ear arri'es our *ght or 2ight

    re2exes !ic! in and "e "or! %urely on instinct. +nstinct is a good thing& as any

    o us surely !no"& #ut "hen the conscious mind ta!es a #rea! rom its chore

    and allo"s instinct to ta!e o'er com%letely& you can run into some %ro#lems.

    My #elie is that the more sel a"are that you are& the easier it is to !ee% that

    conscious rame o mind through the intensity o the ear and then uses that

    energy to em%o"er yoursel& and release a stronger emotional reaction inorder to ree yoursel rom the #indings o ear. The !ey in my o%inion to

    releasing oursel'es rom ear is #y the use o meditation and sel a"areness.

    Meditation is the art o stilling the mind so that you #ecome a"are o "hat is

    sel and "hat is not sel. Fear& + #elie'e is a reaction that is not caused #y sel

    %er say& #ut caused #y emotional reactions that are not controlled reactions.

    + "e "ere more in tune "ith our entire sel then "e "ould #e more easily

    a#le to recogni-e "hen an emotion is occurring and react to it accordingly in

    a conscious "ay. This can #e more #ene*cial to us than reacting in anuncontrolled "ay that relies on intuition. By #eing a#le to control the emotion

    #etter "e are then a#le to continue to loo! at things rom an o#3ecti'e %oint

    o 'ie" and not allo" oursel'es to get s"e%t a"ay #y that emotion. 4eeing

    things o#3ecti'ely can allo" us to ma!e #etter decisions in the ace o ear

    and control it so that it does not or cannot a/ect us in the uture. This can

    also "or! to release us rom %ast ears that "e ha'e held on to or so long

    and ha'e little control o'er.

    By no" you are as!ing yoursel 3ust ho" it is that "e go a#out this in order torelease oursel'es rom ear and #ecome sel a"are. 5s said #eore + #elie'e

    that meditation is the !ey in doing this& #ut the ty%e o meditation is 'ery

    im%ortant& de%ending on "hat you are using it or. 5re you going to use

    meditation in order to hel% aid you in gaining #etter control o'er your

    emotional reaction to ear& or are you going to reli'e a %ast ex%erience in

    order to get to the root cause o a ear that you ha'e currently? Personally +

    suggest that #oth are done& though it can #e a di,cult road to tra'el& and an

    emotional one at that es%ecially in the #eginning. For no" + suggest that you

    choose one to tra'el and "hen you eel comorta#le "ith your im%ro'ement&

    tra'el the other.

    6et1s *rst tal! a#out using meditation and sel a"areness in order to release

    oursel'es rom a ear rooted in the %ast. This can #e a di,cult one es%ecially

    i you are one to #elie'e in %ast li'es and reincarnation. +t is 'ery %ossi#le

    that the soul collects the ears that it has learned and ta!es them onto its

    next incarnation. This could ex%lain "hy "e ha'e so many ears that "e

    cannot %in %oint the origins o in the li'es that "e are li'ing currently. These

    %ast ears can also #e #ased rom a childhood trauma or ex%erience that "e

    ha'e chosen to orget in order to ma!e an attem%t to %ut it #ehind us. +n that

    case it #ecomes more di,cult #ecause you are not loo!ing at it rom a third

    %arty ty%e 'ie"& it "as actually something that you li'ed recently and ha'e

    #loc!ed it rom memory. Though you may ha'e #loc!ed the memory romresuracing on a conscious le'el& you cannot #loc! the emotion o the ear

    that is related to it. That is o course unless you use meditation to tra'el #ac!

    to the origins o the incident that caused the reaction o ear and "or!

    through it on a di/erent le'el in order to re%lace the ear "ith em%o"erment.

    Then& "hen you *nd yoursel in that situation again in a uture time you can

    relay #ac! to the em%o"erment that you created to re%lace the eeling o

    ear and mo'e or"ard through the situation rather then allo" it to ma!e you

    re'ert #ac!"ard. Many time %eo%le thin! that this is in regard to ma3or ears

    or disorders& and "hile this "ill also "or! to #ene*t those as "ell it "or!s or

    the little ears that "e deal "ith e'eryday. These can run as dee% as %ossi#le

    or #e so ar on the surace that they seem to "i%e o/& the %oint is though to

    release them rom you in order to li'e lie com%letely and ully "ithout the

    ear o ear.

    +n this %aragra%h + am going to ex%lain the guided meditation that + use to

    tra'el to the %ast o a situation and change the ear into em%o"erment.

    First you "ill "ant to get in a meditati'e %osition in a %lace that you "ill not

    #e #othered #y %hones children or %ets. 7ou may sit& stand or lie do"n 8so

    long as you don1t all aslee%9 as long as you are sure to !ee% nothing crossed.Crossing o the arms& legs or other %arts interru%t the 2o" o energy in the

    #ody and %ut a clam% on the circuit. + you choose to sit +ndian style or in a

    7oga %osition this is acce%ta#le as the energy in those %ositions is allo"ed to

    2o" reely. o" "hat "e "ant to do is to relax our entire #ody and !ee% our

    mind a"a!e and alert.

    Begin #y ta!ing ; dee% #reaths in through the nose and out o the mouth.

    This "ill align the energy in the #ody.

    Begin "ith your #rain.

    o" ocus on your eet& seeing them surrounded #y the "hite light. Feel them

    stretch and contract and dro% do"n into ull relaxation. 4ay to yoursel $Feet

    you are relaxed and you release all tension). o" mo'e that light u% to your

    legs rom an!le to hi%. Feel the legs all into relaxation same as the eet. 4ay

    to yoursel $6egs you are relaxed and you release all tension.)

    Mo'e that light u%"ard again to your lo"er torso are rom hi%s to chest.

    Breathe in the light and allo" it to dro% your lo"er torso into ull relaxation.

    4ay to yoursel $Torso you are relaxed and you release all tension.)

    Mo'ing u% still ocus on your u%%er torso rom your chest to your nec!. 5llo"

    the light to %enetrate your #ody and dro% it into com%lete relaxation. 4ay to

    yoursel $=%%er torso you are relaxed and release all tension.)

    o" mo'e to your head rom your nec! u% to your head and ace. 5llo" that

    light to %enetrate you once again and all dee% into relaxation. 4ay to

    yoursel $Head& ec! and Face. 7ou are relaxed and release all tension.)

    Mo'e that light #ac! around you and ocus on your #ac!. 4ee the light

    ru##ing your #ac! releasing tension and dro%%ing you into relaxation. 4ay to

    yoursel $Bac! you are relaxed and you release all tension).

    o" #ring that eeling to your arms and hands. 5llo"ing them to relax as

    "ell. 4ay to yoursel $Hands and 5rms& you are relaxed and you release all

    tension>.

    o" that your #ody is com%letely relaxed and has released all o its tension

    allo" yoursel to sit or a moment your mind still acti'e #ut ocused on

    relaxation. 4it in this meditati'e s%ot or a e" minutes and allo" your #ody

    to ully sin! into a relaxed state. 5l"ays remem#ering that your mind is ully

    a"a!e and alert.

    o" you are going to o%en your inner eyes and see yoursel sitting in a *eld

    midday. The summer air smells s"eet around you& as a cool #ree-e rushes

    %ast your ace. 7ou loo! to your ront and see that there is a thic! orest o

    trees o/ some"hat in the distance. 5s you %eer into the orest you see a

    small %ath a%%ear to lead you. 7ou "al! to"ard the %ath and tra'el do"n into

    the "oods. 5s you "al! you see the 2ora and auna on either side o youchange color. First Red then range& to 7ello"& reen& Blue changing still to

    +ndigo&

    rom your lie& and "ill ne'er again return.

    Wi%e your hand through the image in the "ater and distur# the surace as

    "ithin the %erson. Fears that "e !no" that "e ha'e #ut do not !no" "here

    they stem rom. The #est result that you "ill get rom %racticing these

    techni0ues is that you "ill #e a#le to dis%erse ears that you "ere una"are

    that you had. Fear o success or exam%le is something that most o us deal

    "ith& #ut are una"are that "e ha'e. Because o this "e sel sa#otage our

    situations so that "e cannot achie'e "hat it is "e thin! "e "ant #ecause othe ear. By using the sel a"areness techni0ues "e can #etter reali-e "hen

    our unconscious mind is out to get us so to s%ea!& and correct it in order to

    "or! or us instead o against us. There are so many di/erent ears that are

    #uilt inside o us that "e cannot e'en thin! a#out li'ing "ithout them. To do

    so seems im%ossi#le to the mind. That itsel is a ear& the ear o li'ing reely

    and easily "ithout ears. 5 "ord is to #e said here as "ell a#out the releasing

    o ears along "ith the la" o attraction. +t is said that "hat "e thin! "e

    create. 5ll o this is done su#consciously "ithout our !no"ing. The #est "ay

    to gauge this is to #e a"are o your emotions through that sel a"areness. +

    "e are a"are o our emotional reactions and "e can change the emotion o

    ear to something that is #ene*cial& then it "ill #ecome easier or us to

    attract %ositi'e in2uences in our li'es& doing that "ill then ma!e us

    emotionally ha%%y& and allo" us to continue to attract that ha%%iness. 4o you

    see& #y releasing our ears not only are "e allo"ing oursel'es to re%rogram

    our emotional in2uences& #ut "e are also allo"ing the 2o" o %ositi'e energy

    or maniestation.

    Close your eyes as #eore and start "ith the ; dee% #reaths to ground and

    center yoursel. Then mo'e onto the relaxation rom the *rst exercise to relax

    the #ody and !ee% the mind a"a!e and alert.

    o" o%en your inner eyes and see yoursel at the #ase o a "aterall.

    5s you loo! around you see that there is a crystal clear ri'er in ront o you

    and you are surrounded #y a thic! tro%ical orest. +n the center o the ri'er is

    a large 2at stone.

    Wade across the ri'er and ma!e your "ay to the stone. 4it do"n +ndian style

    on the stone and ace the "aterall.

    Close your eyes and ocus on the #reath as you listen to the "hite noise o

    the "aterall crashing do"n.

    Breathe in through the nose or a count o A. ;Ano" hold

    Re%eat this #reathing until you eel your #ody rhythmically #reathing on its

    o"n. Focus on the #reath& and allo" the sound o the "aterall to #ring youdee%er into meditation. Focus only on the #reath and allo" your mind to

    clear.

    7our #ody is no" #reathing rhythmically on its o"n ollo"ing the same A

    A %attern. o" that "e ha'e achie'ed a state o meditation "e are going to

    "or! on our sel a"areness #y ex%anding our aura and %rogramming our Eth

    cha!ra.

    First& ocus on the aura around you. Feel the energy shell that surrounds your

    #ody.

    This is your 4acral Center& near your na'el. 5s it is acti'ated it #egins to glo"

    a #right orange. etting stronger and stronger& you can eel its "armth as

    "ell. 4oon this cha!ra rises to acti'ate the next.

    This is your 4olar Plexus Center& at the #ase o your #reast #one. +t #egins to

    s%in and glo" a #rilliant yello" color. 5s it gent #righter it too mo'es itsel

    u%"ard 0uite naturally and acti'ates the next center.

    This is your Heart Center& located in the center o your chest. When acti'ated

    it s%ins a dee% green color. Feel its "armth as "ell as it s%ins and gro"s& until

    it 2o"s u%"ard.

    +t no" acti'ates the Throat Center in the middle o the nec!. This glo"s a true

    #lue color. 5nd *lls your nec! "ith "armth& as it s%ins. This light too reaches

    u% and mo'es to the next Cha!ra Center.

    This is your Third ye Center located in #et"een your eyes at the #ridge o

    your nose. 5s it acti'ates it #egins to s%in and color a%%ears as a dee% indigo.

    This too rises 2uidly to the next center.

    7our Cro"n Center no" acti'ates& located at the to% o your head it glo"s a

    #rilliant 'iolet color and *lls your head "ith "armth. This light rises as a

    #rilliant gold #eam and acti'ated the Eth Cha!ra one oot a#o'e your head.

    5s the Eth Cha!ra is acti'ated it #egins to glo" "hite& sil'er and gold. +t gets

    #righter and #righter as it is charged "ith all o the colors o your G Cha!ras.

    o" "e must %rogram this Cha!ra to allo" us to gain sel a"areness.

    4ay to yoursel:

    $Eth #ody Cha!ra& + charge you to allo" me sel a"areness in all that + do. +

    as! that you allo" that a"areness es%ecially in times o ear so that + may

    o" ocus on the #reath once again re%eating that AA %attern. Find

    yoursel slo"ly coming #ac! to %hysical a"areness as you see yoursel on the

    roc! in the ri'er and #egin to hear the "aterall once again.

    4tretch in your seat and mo'e your #ody slo"ly coming #ac! to %hysical

    a"areness. Then "hen you are comorta#le o%en your eyes and return to this

    room.

    +n this last meditation "e used the cha!ras as "ell as rhythmic #reathing to

    center and charge our Eth cha!ra center. The cha!ras are s%inning "heels o

    energy that align the center o the #ody. There are G main cha!ras that are

    ha#itually ocused on in the meta%hysical *eld& #ut the #ody has many more

    energy centers throughout it as "ell. The Eth cha!ra is also sometimesreerred to as the Cone o Po"er. This cha!ra can #e %rogrammed to "or! or

    you in any "ay that you "ould li!e. Here "e charged it "ith allo"ing us sel

    a"areness through ear situations.

    Be a"are that you may *nd in the #eginning that sometimes it "or!s and

    sometimes it doesn1t. This is o! and 'ery common. +t does ta!e time or a

    com%lete re%rogramming o the #ody reactions through meditation and sel

    a"areness& ho"e'er doing this meditation o'er and o'er "ill energi-e that

    Eth cha!ra more and more so that "hen situations o ear arise you are more

    li!ely to retain sel a"areness and change the ear into em%o"erment. This is

    not a ool %roo method #y any means. +n act there is no ool %roo method

    a'aila#le. This ta!es time and dedication as "ell as energy rom you. That is

    the most im%ortant %art though& is that you are using your o"n energy to

    charge yoursel "ith em%o"erment through ear& and in time can #ecome the

    strongest reaction that you can ha'e& "ith the strongest energy that can

    create ityour o"n.
