▪ There is a new toggle on the “Online Giving” tab of Portal’s WebLink > InFellowship > Features

page, which turns on visibility into individual/household pledge progress for InFellowship users.

o InFellowship > Giving:

▪ A new “Pledges” tab will display when the above toggle is turned on. On this tab, an

InFellowship user will:

• See any pledges they have made within the given year, including the following

information for each pledge:

o Pledge Drive Name

o Pledge start/end dates

o Total amount given towards the pledge

o Total amount pledged

o Percent given of the total amount pledged

• Filter to view pledges made by specific individuals and/or to view pledges within a

specific year.

▪ A Pledge Summary table is now included on the downloadable Contribution Statement. When

an InFellowship User has a Pledge within the given year, the table will show the pledge drive

name, pledge amount, and the amount given towards the pledge year-to-date.

o Resolved an issue where you could not advance an applicant through the pipeline if they applied to

more than one opportunity within the same application.

o If an individual applied to a volunteer opportunity that is set to auto-assign a volunteer assignment and

their final requirement is approved on the Individual page (rather than in the pipeline), the assignment

will now be granted.

o Requirements

▪ The individual who approves or rejects a requirement within the volunteer pipeline is now listed

as the associated Portal User for that requirement. This will be seen on an individual’s record, as

well as in reporting.

▪ If an application is in “Requirements” status and a user updates a requirement’s status to “Not

Approved” while on the Individual’s record (as opposed to in the pipeline), the application will

now move to “Rejected” status. Previously, these applications were staying in “Requirements”

status.

o Groups

▪ In the Groups navigation menu, in the “Groups by Group Type” section, two additional options

are now available:

• Add Group

• Add People List

▪ If a Portal user attempts to add a group or people list but their account is not linked to an

individual record (thus disabling them from doing so), they will see a message explaining why

they are unable to add the group/people list.

o Usability quick wins:

▪ When you arrive at the People Search page (from People > Search > People Search), the cursor

will be in the “name” field by default

▪ When adding multiple individuals to a new household, your page placement will auto-adjust to

the next individual without scrolling through the previously added individuals

▪ When adding an individual to an existing household (using the “Add Individual” page), your

cursor will be in the “First Name” field by default

o The loading icons on the Home page and the Individual page are now consistent

o When exporting transactions to Shelby Financials, the export will now add a single journal entry in

Shelby Financials, even when the export includes multiple funds (assuming the same year and period are

selected for all funds on the export page in F1).

▪ If you want to split your export and create journal entries for each fund, select the “Create

separate journal entries for each fund” checkbox. Your selection will be saved for future exports.

▪ After searching, the name field will still be highlighted so you can start typing another person’s

▪ When adding an assignment to an approved applicant, the assignment settings will be pre-filled

if they were set up for the given opportunity.

▪ When setting up assignment settings for an opportunity, you can choose an “Auto-assign”

option, which will automatically add volunteer assignments to applicants when they are

approved in the pipeline.

o Users designated as a “Responsible User” for an opportunity can now opt in to receive an email for each

new applicant to that opportunity. You can opt-in by:

▪ Going to your “My Account” page (selecting the icon with your image or initials in the right side

of the Portal header)

▪ Select the “Notifications” tab

▪ Select the “Assigned volunteer applicants” checkbox

▪ Select “Save notifications”

o When viewing notes for someone’s volunteer application, you will now see which application and

opportunity each note is associated with (if an applicant applies to more than one opportunity, you will

see notes for all opportunities within that application when viewing their notes).

o Added a “Confidential” checkbox for Volunteer Opportunities’ “General Information” in preparation for

a future update which will display all volunteer applications someone has applied to on their individual

record. Select this checkbox if you only want users with access to the volunteer pipeline to see this

opportunity on an individual’s record.

o Defect fix:

▪ An Opportunity's Age Range settings were cleared after editing an opportunity's General

Information

• Event Registration

o Added a “Confidential” checkbox for Event Registration Forms in preparation for a future update which

will display all registrations someone has submitted on their individual record. Select this checkbox if

you only want users with access to event registration submissions to see this opportunity on an

individual’s record.

o Defect fix:

▪ In some very uncommon instances, completed event registrations were not visible in the Portal.

This issue is now prevented from occurring.

• Miscellaneous

o For churches using the Shelby Financials integration: in instances where batch names are longer than

what can show in the Batches filter dropdown menu, you can now hover over the batch to see the

entire batch name.

o Defect fix:

▪ When My Check-in users created a new account via the My Check-in account creation workflow,

if they had an existing record in Portal, their status would change to “New from Website” when

their existing record was merged with their new record. Now their existing status will be

preserved.

• This did not impact new accounts created via InFellowship.

NOTE FOR FUTURE RELEASE:

• In a future release, all event registrations and volunteer applications that someone has submitted will display on

their Individual record in Portal. As of release 19.08, you can select a “Confidential” checkbox for any events or

volunteer opportunities that you don’t want visible to all Portal users. When selected, only users with access to

the Event Form details or Volunteer Application details will see these Confidential items on someone’s Portal

record. Timing for the next release will be communicated at a future date.

• Volunteer Pipeline

o Core Volunteer Pipeline Records report (M3820) – v1.6

▪ This version includes the new volunteer pipeline’s stages (Screening, Requirements, Approved,

Cancelled and Rejected)

▪ Screening Questions are now available in this report. When you are setting up how you want the

report to display (in the “Fields to Display” filter), Screening Questions are included in the

output by default.

• Event Registration Refunds

o When granting a refund for an event registration submission, users can grant debit/credit card and

eCheck (ACH) refunds again. The following limitations apply:

▪ The registration can only have one existing payment

▪ The registration can have no existing refunds

▪ The refund must be within 60 days of the original payment

▪ The refund must be to the original card/account

o All additional refunds not meeting the above requirements must be made by cash or check.

• Volunteer Pipeline:

o For churches integrated with SecureSearch Faith or Clear Investigative Advantage for background checks

(BGCs): The BGC requests triggered from the volunteer pipeline are now triggered when an applicant is

advanced from the “Screening” stage (previously, requests were sent to the BGC provider for all

applicants in the pipeline at the time they applied).
