C2: Smooth hopping Floreana Day 1: Arrival in San Cristóbal, transfer to hotel. Lunch and departure for hike and snorkel tour to Loberia beach. We can spot marine iguanas, turtles, frigate birds… Meals included: -‐/L/D (dinner at a local fishermen home) Day 2: Departure early in the morning by speedboat to Santa Cruz. Visit of the Highlands: tortoise reserve, lava tunnel, twin craters. Lunch and in the afternoon hike to Tortuga Bay, where we can spot shore birds, marine iguanas, blue footed boobies Optional: kayak ride: $25.-‐/ person Meals included: B/L/D Day 3: Departure for a day trip to Floreana island. Bird watching at Enderby, snorkel at Day Light or Loberia, and visit of the Asilo de la Paz, (giant tortoises, pirates caves) Optional: boat trip to uninhabited island such as Plazas, Seymour, Bartolomé instead of Floreana: $61.-‐/ person Meals included: B/L/D Day 4: Time free until pick up for your transfer to airport. C 1: Intensive Hopping Isabela Day 1: Arrival in San Cristóbal, transfer to hotel. Lunch and departure for a great snorkel tour to Lobos Island and Kicker Rock. We can spot rays, sea lions, reef sharks, hammerhead sharks Meals included: -‐/L/D (dinner at a local fishermen home) Day 2: Departure early in the morning by plane to Isabela Island. Transfer to hotel. At arrival we’ll have breakfast and then go to the Sierra Negra Volcano hiking. Lunch in a local finca. Afternoon trip to the Tintoreras Islet. Hike and snorkel looking for penguins, blue footed boobies and iguanas. Meals included: B/L/D Day 3: Early departure by speedboat to Santa Cruz. Arrival around 8AM, breakfast.Visit of the highlands: we’ll see tortoise in the wild, a lava tunnel, the Twin craters. C2: Focus Isabela Day 1: Arrival in San Cristóbal, transfer to hotel. Lunch and departure for hike and snorkel tour to Loberia beach. We can spot marine iguanas, turtles, frigate birds… Meals included: -‐/L/D (dinner at a local fishermen home) Day 2: Departure by plane to Isabela Island. Transfer to hotel and departure for a visit of the Wetlands, a RAMSAR classified zone, we can spot tortoises, iguanas, variety of birds. Visit of the Wall of tears. Afternoon visit of the Tintoreras islet looking for penguins, blue footed boobies, iguanas, white tipped sharks (resting in a lava tunnel). Meals included: B/L/D Day 3: Hike to Sierra Negra volcan: first by car then hiking until we arrive to the crater. We’ll continue up to Volcan Chico site. Lava sceneries are impressive! Lunch in a local finca, back to port around 3Pm to rest. 8 day tour of the Galapagos Islands: Day 1: Arrival in San Cristóbal, transfer to hotel. Lunch and departure for a hike to the Loberia: a mangrove beach where we can spot sea lions, marine iguanas, frigate birds. Hike on to the cliff where we can usually spot the swallow tailed gulls, blue footed boobies. Back to the beach we’ll snorkel looking for marine turtles, sea lions. Alternative: kayak ride Playa Mann-‐ Darwin Bay: $25.-‐/ person Meals included: -‐/L/D (dinner at a local fishermen home) Day 2: Highlands of San Cristobal. Our first stop will be the Junco lagoon; where we can usually spot frigate birds washing the salt from their wings.Then we’ll go to the Galapaguera tortoise reserve, where we can see Giant tortoises.. Afterwards we’ll Hike to Puerto Chino, a white sand beach where we will relax and swim before getting back to port. Alternative: instead of Puerto Chino we can hike (moderate difficulty) through a giant cactus forest at the “Opuntia garden” until we arrive at “Veinte Varas” beach Meals included: B/L/D Day 3: boat tour to snorkel to Lobos Islands and Kicker Rock; looking for sea lions, marine iguanas, lots of tropical fishes specie…Afterwards we’ll enjoy a nice stop at a beautiful beach to have lunch on board and then relax and swim around the beach. We’ll be back to port around 3PM. After a little rest we’ll have a smooth hike to the Frigate Bird Hill and see the Darwin statue (that is the first place he anchored when arriving on the islands). Our last stop will be Carola beach Meals included: B/L/D Day 4: In the morning we’ll fly to Isabela (40mn flight). At arrival we’ll go to the Wetlands: this is RAMSAR classified site and hosts a great biodiversity: shore birds, marine iguanas, reintroduced marine tortoises.Afterwards we’ll go to the Tintoreras: this is an islet off Isabela (10 mn boat ride),, there we can usually spot: Galapagos penguins, marine iguanas, sharks resting in a channel formed by lava, Galapagos hawk. We’ll also snorkel in the bay. Meals included: B/L/D
