and(c) a well head is used as a ground only(i) for dissipating static electricity, and(ii)iftestedandprovedacceptable,foranelectrical distribution system.(4)Theemployer,supervisorandworkershallensure that(a) there is no smoking on or about a rig, within25 m (80 ft.) of the well bore and within 25 m (80ft. )ofanywell, productionfaci lityorgasprocessing plant; and(b) there are no open flames within 25 m (80 ft.)ofthewellborewhenevergasmaybeemittedfrom the well or any other source.(5)Theemployershallensurethatwhenironsulphide is removed from a tank(a)theironsulphideiskeptwetteddownuntilsafely disposed of; and(b) any shock hoses or other hoses which may besubjecttopressuresurgesandwhippingarerestrained by safety lines.(13)Theemployer,supervisorandworkershallensurethatfrictioncatheadsarenotusedforhoistingorlifting.(14)The employer and supervisor shall ensure that(a)thedriverofavehicleusedforrigginguportearing up equipment does not move the vehicleuntil signalled to move by a qualified person; and(d) the operator of the draw works does not leavethe controls unattended while the hoisting drumis in motion, except when drilling.(34)The employer shall ensure that a drilling rig isequipped with an automatic feed control.(35)The employer and supervisor shall ensure that(a) whenever drill pipes, drill collars or tubing arerackedinaderrick,provisionsaremadeforthecompletedrainageofanyfluidsorgasesinthestands;(b) before drill pipe, drill collar, tubing or casingisruninawellbore,itisfreefromiceplugsorother obstructions;
