GoalsThe overall objectives are to present to the attendees timely knowledge pertaining to patient safety, medical knowledge, patient care and systems based practices (Drs. Ortiz, Streckenbach, Derschwitz and Chaimberg). Dr. Chaimberg will also be of great help in using appropriate interpersonal communication and fostering professionalism in the approach to the impaired practitioner, while Dr. Niklason will give the attendees a glimpse of the future of our ORs and a strong foundation of how we will get there by sharing her first-hand participation in such research.
