OF EBOLA VACCINE
III-1. Coordination and management

Strength:
� 126 HW GCP/Ebola vaccine clinical trial:
CVV/proximity mobile
� over 5000 HW in IPC
� 38 Coord team IPC
� 50 Field co teams, logisticians, mobilisers…
� 2 Maintenance operators and power supply,
� 1 data manager
� Nomination of one data manager EPI_MOH
III-3. Logistics and safe deliveryBenefits with respect to staff:
•3 staff at central level trained on the use of Arktek
•3 staff in charge of vaccine’s and cold chain management trained and deployed for
the vaccine trial
•Many cold chain managers at operational level
Benefits with respect to logistics:
•Logistics of the Ebola vaccine’s trial available (WCO)
•120 m3 positive cold chain and 20 m3 negative cold chain in EPI not adapted
Logistics for safe delivery:
•Existence of two (2) blinders (Hospitals Ignace Deen and Sino-Guinean)
•17 Hospitals /33 prefectures have functional incinerators
•7 others to be installed by the end of November
•ADSs and SBs available at all vaccination posts
