Budget of the Regional Representation

Regional Representation For the Middle East

www.rr-middleeast.oie.int

The funding of the RR-ME depends on an annual voluntary contribution of the Lebanese government and on the 10 % of the annual contribution to the OIE of regional Members

But only 12 Members in the OIE Regional Commission for the Middle East and most of these Members are not in the highest contribution categories

Fortunately, most of the workshops, seminars and conferences organized by the RR-ME are sponsored mainly by hosting countries

As often as possible, joint meeting are also organized with our regional partners, such as FAO, WHO, AU-IBAR and others
