• This blog is addressed to teenagers from 13 to 15 years
olds in ninth grade.
*ENVIRONMENT AN METHODOLOGY:
• Most of the students in ninth grade have an English level of A2
• The goal of this blog is to provide students the opportunity to practice English at home most of the time trough different activities, while in the classroom the teacher is going to evaluate their previous experiences in the blog. Besides, in the
classroom the students will work and interact based on what they have learned using the blog.
*TOPIC: Regional and foreign food
• The students will be able to express their likes and dislikes or opinions regarding regional (Colombian) and foreign food
using a wide range of vocabulary and a proper use of
English in different contexts.
*RESOURCES:This blog will include the following resources:
• Power point presentations with some important grammar explanations (Simple present,
Comparatives and Superlatives and the use of “I would like”)
• Some infographics with vocabulary (nationalities, adjectives) and flashcards (food)
and comparative charts.• Audios and readings
• Some videos about the relation between food and society.
• Some activities and games.
