Best Practice - Fundraising• Host Evening with Industry– Night before Career Fair• Less travel for company reps

– Both students and company reps purchase tickets– Do not have to be member to attend– Allow time before and during the meal to socialize– During meal, try to pair students and companies

with people they want to work with– Allow companies to sponsor tickets and prizes

Chocolate Soiree• Who: Often co-hosted with another student

organization – open to all students

• What: Community Service Event– Provide chocolate fondue and snacks– Ask for nonperishable food donation– Volunteer activity

(often organized with the Salvation Army) • This past year made cards for local hospital
