The power of regenerative technologyREGENoffersresponsive,low-maintenancepumpcontrolandspeedregulationforcleaner-poweredpumping.AdvancedengineeringcombinesprovenLufkinWellManager™(LWM)technologyforwelldiagnostics,VariableSpeedDrive(VSD)capabilitiesforpumpspeedregulation,andnewActiveFrontEnd(AFE)technologytoregeneratepowerwhenoverhaulingloadsoccur.Theall-in-onesystemeliminatesexternalDynamicBrakingResistorsbycapturingenergyreturningfromthemotorandpassingittothedistributionpointinitsoriginallydeliveredstateforreuse.REGENisexceptionallyefficientwhenmultipleloadsconnecttoasinglepowermeter.

REGENisanidealchoicewhenthelocalpowergridcallsforcleanerpowerconsumption,brakingresistorsposeahazard,orexternalharmonicfiltersdonotmeetrequirements.

AFEtechnologygivesREGENanear-unitypowerfactorwithoutexternalharmonicfilters.REGENactivelyrespondstochanges

inincominglinevoltagestolowerharmonicslevelstobelowfivepercent,preventingpowersurgescommonlyseenwhenusingspeeddriveswithtraditionalpassivefilters.ThesystemalsomeetsIEEE 519-1992atfullloadregardlessofincomingvoltageorimbalance.

Two systems, one interfaceOnecabinetandinterfacemakesREGENwithLWMsoeasytosetup,evenanovicecaninstallandprogramthesystemswithlittledifficulty.UsetheQuickStartactivationtotriggerREGENandLWMdefaultoperatingparameters,anyofwhichcanbefine-tunedforgreaterpumpingcontrol.Ifspeedorotherfactorsrequireattentionwhenyoucan’tgettothefield,useyourremoteSCADAinterfacetomakeon-the-flyadjustmentsquicklyandeasily.AnoptionalheaterisalsoavailableforcolderclimatestohelpmaintainproperoperationoftheLCDdisplayandotherinternalcomponents.
