Reforestation is a silviculture activity, intended to repopulate areas that have been deforested.Of 5,887 hectares that make up the historic sanctuary Pomac forest, have been preyed upon by traffickers, invaders and loggers 2000 hectares of land, of which 800 hectares belong to archaeological remains and 1,200 hectares of degraded forests, plundered. Programa de Reforestación

The Siembra Vida program is executed by the ECO Center, as part of the activities of "Reforestation of degraded areas of the Sanctuary Historical Pomac Forest" project funded by the Fund for the Americas, which aims to contribute to the conservation

of biodiversity and preservation of the Equatorial Dry Forest of Pomac reforesting 700 hectares degraded.

Program participants have the experience to reforest, meet the enterprises which are working with the ECO Center and the tourist attractions of the SHBP, as well as share good times with communities in the buffer zone of the forest of Pomac.
