REFLECTION ON GROUP 1- MICRO-TEACHING. (SEP 11, 2015) Teaching context Students’ level: upper-intermediate Class size: 25 students Skill: Speaking and correction Topic: expressions for agreeing and disagreeing Teacher: Le Thi Kim Truoc Strengths Well prepare with clear steps Good at class management ( interaction, observation..) Teacher is rather confident and has clear and loud voice. There are variety of group works and pair works Good at engaging and involving the students in activities. The teacher gave the students feedback and corrected their mistakes Weaknesses The teacher looks so strict and this could make student uncomfortable. The time allowance is too short for each tasks, it is very hard for student to discuss. Teacher had not clear instruction for students to follow. In warmer section, it is rather boring with reading activity not engage the learners. In correction, teacher should correct student’s errors right a way and try to make them correct themselves rather than directly correct and giving advice or suggestions

Strengths

Well – prepare with clear steps

Good at class management ( interaction, observation..)

Teacher is rather confident and has clear and loud voice.

The teacher gave the students feedback and corrected their mistakes

Weaknesses

The teacher looks so strict and this could make student uncomfortable.

The time allowance is too short for each tasks, it is very hard for student to discuss.

Teacher had not clear instruction for students to follow.
