FUE2 SafeSystem method

The improved version of the original FUE process was invented by James Harris MD, owner of the HSC Colorado clinic in the USA. During the transplantation a special tool, SafeScribe is used to harvest grafts, which is basically a miniature rounded drill.

Thanks to the rounded SafeScribe drill - compared to the original FUE needle - there is no incision made, so harming the grafts is practically impossible. This way almost 100% of the implanted hairs grow back after the hair transplantation!!!

The SafeScribe also has a depth blocking device that can prevent the doctor to cut deeper in the skin, thus smaller wounds are caused on the scalp. Thanks to this device, the healing process is 50% shorter compared to the normal FUE method. The donor area heals without visible scars following the intervention.

Using this method, it is possible to harvest more hairs in a shorter time, so it is more comfortable for the patients, and means a smaller trauma for the transplanted grafts too.

For patients who do not have enough donor hairs on the back of the head, the SafeSystem meth-od makes it possible to harvest hairs from other parts of the body, like the chest, the back or the stomach.

The punch used during the FUE2 SafeSystem process plays a very important role in the future of hair transplantation, as a developed variant of SafeScribe was implemented in the Artas R-FUE hair transplant robot in October 2011.
