If you need to contact Brother Jason during the week, please call him at 910-620-3900. If you need his mailing address, it is 144 Ethan Lane, Douglas, GA 31533. Music is a gift of God. Some of us aren’t really good at music. We don’t play an instrument or sing in a choir or anything, but we love music anyway. Well, my jail ladies are not any different when it comes to loving music. Quite often we sing. Of course we have no piano or guitar to accompany us. We just sing. . . . from our hearts. . . . . and it’s a beautiful sound! Here are some of the songs we love to sing together: “More Precious than Silver Lord, You are more precious than silver, And Lord, You are more costly than gold. And Lord, You are more beautiful than diamonds, And nothing I desire compares with You.” Here’s another we love. Sanctuary Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried & true. With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living Sanctuary for you. Some of the most moving music I have ever heard has been in jail.
