DESCRIPTION

Improvement Story session at the 2013 Saskatchewan Health Care Quality Summit. For more information about the summit, visit www.qualitysummit.ca. Follow @QualitySummit on Twitter. Kelsey Trail Health Region began an improvement journey in the summer of 2010 to reduce the number of falls and injuries from falls in all ten of our Long Term Care facilities by implementing a fall prevention program. Eighteen months after the last facilities began a falls reduction program we have seen a fourteen percent reduction in the median number of falls throughout our region.
