Parents are encouraged to send an additional mask for younger students should a replacement be necessary. This temporary mask requirement will begin on Thursday, September 2, 2021 We will closely monitor the COVID-19 situation during the month of September and adjust accordingly based on the prevalence of COVID within our student body and local community. We will encourage frequent mask breaks and use of outdoor learning spaces in a safe and controlled environment. This temporary mask requirement will apply to all indoor school day settings. Outdoor venues and extra-curricular activities will not have a masking requirement at this time. Meningitis Vaccination We have several seniors who have not fulfilled either the meningitis vaccination requirement or turned in an exemption form. Please remind your students of this requirement in the coming week. Free Breakfast and Lunch for All Students

● COVID Procedures (excerpt from Mr. Seder’s Update)○ In an effort to keep our students in school and

● Updated Website Launch○ MVCSD is proud to announce the redesign of our

district website on Tuesday, September 7. Our oldsite has served us well for the past 5 years but withnumerous changes in technology, we felt it wastime to give our community the best possiblewebsite design.

Our site is dedicated to providing parents, students,and community members the most current schoolupdates, resources, and event schedules. We wantour website to be a useful source of news rangingfrom curriculum updates, event notifications andan improved calendar of events at all schools.

Some of the new features incorporated in theredesigned site it the

● improved mobile responsive (phoneand tablet) website

● updated navigation with customdrop-down mega menus

● district and building home pagehaving the ability to have their ownvideo or photo gallery

● three tier social media dashboard
